Firstly, I want to say what lovely, friendly people you all are, which is why you might be a little surprised by my comments below. However, when buying a beautiful ex-demonstrator vehicle . The sales Manager called me to sort any minor issues with me and was extreamly helpful and understanding, what a breath of fresh air highly recommened .

would like to express my deepest gratitude to the team at SLM Toyota in Hastings. I recently purchased a 15-year-old Toyota iQ from the dealership. I knew I could have bought a similar car for less elsewhere, but I chose to buy from a main Toyota dealer because the warranty gave me real peace of mind. Shortly after my purchase, I experienced an issue with the air conditioning. The dealership dealt with the matter professionally and provided me with a courtesy car, ensuring I could remain mobile while my vehicle was being repaired. I would especially like to thank the General Manager Ryan Conway He is a real credit to your company. Throughout the process, he was incredibly helpful, supportive, and went far beyond my expectations to resolve the issue. An absolutely appalling experience from a main dealer. I contacted SLM Toyota after my Hilux failed to start, with a computer scan clearly showing two specific immobiliser faults. After calling the dealership to explicitly confirm they could resolve this issue, I had the vehicle towed to their site. The vehicle then sat at their garage for over six weeks. During this entire time, I received zero proactive updates. Every single communication required me to ring and chase them, only to be repeatedly brushed off with the excuse that they were 'very busy.' It was only after another couple of weeks and a formal complaint on my part that I threatened to escalate the situation just to get my own vehicle back. After nearly two months in their possession, the vehicle was returned to me completely unfixed. Shockingly, I took the truck to an independent garage the very next week, and they diagnosed and resolved the immobiliser issue almost immediately. For a main dealer to hold a vehicle for months, offer zero customer service, and fail to fix a fault an independent garage sorted in days is completely unacceptable. I will never use this dealership again, nor will I ever recommend them. Avoid.

We did not have a very positive experience here. We booked a test drive of the new Aygo with Luke, who was polite but basically just handed us the key and send us on our way without explaining anything about the car. Because we knew we wanted the car, we still put a deposit down and were waiting for finance to be approved. During that process, Luke did not respond to emails, when we called, he was mostlyaway from his deskand never called us back even though we were told he would. In the end, the finance was denied, which was also not communicated to us. To clarify, we are not upset about the finance not going through, we know this is up to Toyota themselves and fair enough if they do not feel we have the funds. However, what made us feel uneasy was the total lack of communication from Luke’s side, and the early promises ofyou don’t have to worry about ityou don’t need a guarantoretc. We would have really appreciated knowing up front that it might not go through and would have appreciated not being ignored and actually have someone explain the process and the car to us.

Given how busy it was the service, and my experience, was good. There was a bit of a wait, even though I had g given an arrival time, but the coffee freely available was very good. My only complaint was that the car park was a nightmare. Perhaps 10.00 on a Friday wasn't the wisest time/day to choose to visit them.

Hi i would like to say that I have used SLM TOYOTA ATTLEBOROUGH for many years having my Rav4 2020 serviced and have always been completely satisfied, so now I thought it time for a change of vehicle, which i have found it's a C-HR Excel 2024 a beautiful car, but things didn't go to plan as positively as they should have, if it hadn't been for the sales person who was Oliver Hayward ( Ollie) I would have walked away from the sale, but this young man went above and beyond to keep me on board with the sale, we picked the car up today absolutely stunning thanks Ollie for your time and effort , you are a credit to your company SLM TOYOTA Best regards Keith

I have been dealing with them over the past 2 years and have to admit that I’m rather disappointed with their service. This is comparing them to the Toyota dealers I dealt with when I lived in Midlands. The staff come across as less polite and less responsible. I nearly bought a new car, but had to cancel the order purely because they are too slow to respond to requests. The phones take time to be answered and emails are not replied to. Incomplete works have to be chased by myself instead of staff members wanting to finish the work. They seem to not keep records of work done and end up telling you to need to bring the car in to find out. Additionally, during the service, their recommendations change as per their convenience and the quote for their work is higher than what is advertised by Toyota website. Would definitely recommend to not buy or use their services.

I bought few cars from SLM Toyota Lowestoft and dealt with Jack throughout the process. From the very beginning, he always been professional, approachable, and straightforward to deal with. This guy has a great sense of humor as well without forgetting. Jack was spot on time for our appointment and everything ran smoothly from the start. Very polite and courteous. He took the time to go through everything clearly and made sure I understood all the details before moving forward. There was no pressure at any stage, just honest advice and a relaxed, helpful approach that made the whole experience easy. He answered all my questions properly and was patient throughout, even when I was deciding between a couple of options. Everything was handled efficiently, and I felt confident I was making the right choice. Overall, I was really happy with the service I received and have already recommend Jack a few sales which went thru as smooth as it can be and would definitely keep recommending Jack to anyone looking to buy a car there or considering future purchases. Bought a used car in December at SLM Toyota Norwich. The Sales man Luke was not informative at all. They told me the car was ready to go. Didn't inform me the car only had 9 months mot and not a full years mot. I was never offered a test drive on this vehicle, he never talked me and my husband through any of the vehicles options inside the car. It was only me looking online i noticed on the mot the two back tires were noted as perished. I called toyota to ask if they would replace the two tyres and was told no they had tread on them. The clutch bite on this vehicle is so high I can't get a smooth transition through the gears. I took it in to slm yesterday as since I have bought the car the brakes make a noise everytime you step on them and also said about the clutch biteing point being high. I was told everything was fine I need to run it on the NDR at 60 miles a hour and keep hitting the brakes. I have never had a car and needed to do this. Also the clutch point is suppose to be fine as these models have a high clutch point. I really would have expected the sales person to have advised on these points. I also was not given the mot certificate as they said it was done at another branch. I said I wanted the mot certificate, which Luke said he would get and email to me. After waiting two months and never received it. I called slm and was told Luke was with a customer and will call me back. Still over 3 months later no call and no certificate. I'm guessing that's why no certificate was given at the purchase as then I would of been able to see the perished tyres. I would in future make sure that your sales team tell the customer all the details about the vehicle before selling it to a customer. I have been a customer over 8 years at this branch and feel very let down on my purchase. The discs behind my alloys are very corroded and nothing seems to have been pointed out to us. I am very disappointed with my purchase. Not very professional at all. I now will never buy from SLM Toyota Norwich again.

I would not recommend this dealer—they are not trustworthy. I tried to buy brand new toyota car from them and arrange a part exchange, but they offered me over £2,000 less than other dealerships for the same vehicle. Avoid this place; there are much better options elsewhere.
