MOT and Service carried out on a plan. I was provided with a video if the service to my vehicle showing and explaining all the items they had checked with the wheels off. The depths of tread wS measured and the disc brakes examined. The oil levels check before and after service. It made me co identical that they had done a good job. I also had a couple of functions explained to me. New batteries were replaced in both key fobs. All in all a very thorough job done in which I felt totally confident. I am glad I purchased the service plan when I purchased the car.

OMG. Special shout out to Lydia for the best aftersales service ever. I bought a second hand hybrid car here 6 months ago. When it developed a battery issue, Toyota Assistance sent the AA to get it going and I was advised to drive it straight to Uckfield. They fitted me a new battery in less time than it took me to drink the free cup of coffee. Super happy customer. Thanks, Lydia.

This would of been 5 star but with some rude staff there I’d rather not, Reece the guy who helped me purchase my car, also may I add my 1st experience through a dealership was fantastic and I appreciate his help. So I had a great experience there. But the issue I’ve got is when I arrived home from a 3hour journey. I connected my phone to the car, it’s working perfect with all the functions BUT there’s 1 issue… when making a phone call through the car no one can hear me. but I can hear them fine through the car. So I rung up SLM Group and asked for Reece but unfortunately Reece wasn’t there at the time, so another guy i was on the phone to I tried to explain what the issue was, and he was just really rude, didn’t really want to help me at all and basically told me I will need to drive back 3hrs down there for them to look at it. Which I’m not planning to do so. Apart from that rude staff it was a great experience so I thank Reece for his help and defo recommend him to anyone just not the other missable guy.

7 months ago I bought a second hand Toyota RAV4 Hybrid from a different (non Toyota) garage. I then had it serviced at SLM Uckfield as I was keen to get the additional Toyota warranty. The service was a reasonable price and the staff were very helpful. Last week I had a breakdown. Turned out to be a dead 12V battery, which is apparently increasingly common on modern hybrids. Gavin and Lydia from SLM Uckfield gave me great advice over the phone, and my Breakdown Recovery people were also very good and got me back on the road pretty quickly (Westbourne Motors). Today I took the car into SLM to make sure the new battery had been properly recognised by the car’s battery management system, and to check out a potential leak on the windscreen. They checked everything over and washed the car, and proceeded to charge me nothing at all! I can’t praise their helpfulness and customer service enough. I shall definitely be continuing to have my car serviced there.

We just purchased a used Toyota via Ben at Toyota Uckfield who was a brilliant salesman to deal with. A credit to Toyota. Professional. Friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful, totally on the ball. Not pushy atall in any way, perfect in fact. I don’t usually leave reviews but felt the need to in this case for the whole team at SLM Toyota Uckfield . We have been with them for many years now and all the staff there deserve credit. Ben, who sold me the car, could not have been a better ambassador for SLM Toyota. Professional, patient, non-pushy and very knowledgeable, he sold the car to me in the best possible way. This is my first hybrid vehicle and first automatic and he explained everything in just the right amount of detail without trying to confuse me with technical jargon or pretending he was my best friend, as other salesmen (not from SLM I hasten to add!) have in the past. I felt compelled to email and offer my sincere thanks and congratulations to your amazing team at Uckfield. Trust me this is something I do not normally do but such was the service experienced I thought credit where credit is due! I had the pleasure of purchasing a used car (C-HR) last month and had a positive experience of being looked after by Daniel Lambert. From the moment I walked into the branch he welcomed me with a friendly smile and took me outside to view a couple of options. The whole purchasing experience with him was smooth, professional, non-pressured and incredibly informative. Once I had made up my mind on the right car for me, I noticed a couple of small issues with the car which I had pointed out to Daniel, passenger indicator casing and internal passenger light problem. Together with the support from Ollie, this was booked in to rectify and a loan car was arranged for me. Nothing has been too much trouble by your team and when you consider that I’ve purchased a used car there was never any ‘come on sir, it’s a used car what do you expect’ etc! The SLM customer service I’ve experienced has been top notch and my mother-in-law has also recently purchased a used car after being looked after by Daniel, she told me that Toyota have always been great at customer service and highly recommended me to you, I’m a previous Honda driver for some 20+ years! I’m incredibly proud to be driving a Toyota purchased from SLM and I will certainly be recommending yourselves to others! Please do pass on my sincere thanks to Daniel, Ollie, Ben and the lovely lady who looked after me this Tuesday (didn’t get her name), she was fab.

I bought my CH-R two weeks ago, I dealt with Liam throughout the purchase and he was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. They let me & my wife take our time with the test drive and answered all my questions I had, they also gave me a good deal on my part exchange. I would definitely recommend and look forward to them looking after my car in the years to come.

Arranged last week to test drive new Aygo X automatic, which I took out for a test drive today with SLM Toyota Uckfield. After a not very good experience last week else where; I knew it would be the approach of the sales rep that determined my next steps. Reece didn't push or pressurise me. He gave me time with the car, time to consider and time to ask questions. He was also very honest about what I would or wouldn't need/want as an older woman in my vehicle. I really appreciated his approach. I'd absolutely recommend this dealership. My new Aygo X arrives in September 😃

In a world where customer service standards are rock bottom, every single interaction I had with this company was fantastic. I was totally looked after and kept informed every step of the way. Big shout out to Denise who was friendly, helpful and a joy to talk to. In fact, everyone I spoke to or interacted with was brilliant.

Nothing but praise for this place. Very helpful staff. Just one example, i decided to wait while they gave my wife's Yaris a service and MOT. I brought my laptop along so i could work whilst i waited. The staff let me use a small side office and kept me refreshed with tea and coffee. They know how to treat their customers. I took my parents in to buy a used car on Thursday, luckily we met Jack Heaseman as we walked through the door. After finding a car they liked Jack arranged a test drive on the Friday. Jack was extremely patient, understanding and courteous throughout, giving the time to help my father learn how to adapt to an automatic car. His sales technique was perfect and not pushy which clinched the deal and they drove away very happy with their Toyota Yaris Saturday morning. Thank you Jack you are a real asset to Toyota at Uckfield.

I’ve have now found my way around the car, which I’m really enjoying taking out. I would like to thank you for getting hold of the car after losing out on the original I came to look at the day it was sold. We were met by a very pleasant young saleslady (Maddy Wright) who explained Toyota's Golden Ticket scheme to us in some detail and we decided that day to go ahead and exchange our two year old Yaris Hybrid for a newer model. This was in January and by mid March we are now in possession of our brand new vehicle, for only £20 per month more than we were paying for our previous car with Toyota Finance. We found Maddy helpful and professional, without being 'pushy' both during our original visit to the Toyota dealership and in subsequent correspondence leading to our being given the keys to our new car on 11th March. I took my daughter’s somewhat elderly Rav4 in for some work to be done as a recall. Not only did they do the necessary work, they gave the car a ‘health chevk’ And let her know about the minor issues that needed fixing but on top of that, they cleaned her VERY dirty car inside and out. Highly recommended

Above and beyond I visited Toyota Uckfield to look at getting a larger car. The sales team were extremely helpful, informative and not in anyway pushy. Originally filling out paperwork and ordering a new car, 2 weeks in, my circumstances changed and I had to cancel agreement. Again the sales team could not have been nicer, despite my wasting their time and loss of their commission. A further 2 weeks on I contacted them again, still needing a larger car. I purchased a second hand car from them and despite everything they treated me as if I was their best customer, sorting paperwork , even waiting for lost paperwork I had to reorder. I am still surprised that any car dealer would take the time and effort they did with one customer, especially after causing them so much hassle. The service went above and beyond anything I have experienced in retail before. Highly recommended.

My car was collected in the scheduled time slot for a service and MOT. In the middle of the afternoon I received a phone call giving me details of the work that had been done. I paid and shortly afterwards the car was returned with all the relevant paperwork. A hassle free day ending with a serviced and MOTed car.

We have been customers at SLM ( previously Simpson's) Toyota for nearly 20 years . We have had mainly new cars and they also have looked after all the servicing for us. The customer service has been second to none. We have just bought our latest car - a Toyota Auris Hybrid , so looking forward to a new experience. We recommend this dealer.

I've been using SLM Toyota Uckfield for over 10 years. During that time I've owned a succession of 4 Yaris 5 door saloons; they've not been off the road for a single day and my latest hybrid is the best so far. Staff in Reception have always been polite and helpful. The Service department has carried out regular work efficiently and returned my vehicle after a pleasing and thorough clean. On only one occasion during a Service was I left waiting in Reception longer than expected. Disappointing at the time but Life is not always predictable! Otherwise it's a great dealership.

I used SLM Toyota when i had my Renault Clio and they were superb and now I have a Toyota GT-86 the service continues and never fails to meet my expectation. They assisted me in searching for my GT-86, have assisted me with technical problems i experienced with it and have always delivered on time to my high expectations. A nice friendly atmosphere with everybody willing to do their bit to help. Knowledgeable and experienced. Reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

I have always been very impressed with this dealership, both for service and the sales team. The customer service is impeccable - everyone is pleasant, welcoming and can't do enough for you. The visual safety check and valeting/cleaning of the car on any service visit , free of charge, makes the client and their car, feel valued and secure in the knowledge that they really care.It is probably the best chain dealership I have ever dealt with and would recommend them without reservation.
