SLM Toyota Lowestoft increase exciting new Customer Consultant team with Kurtis George, a versatile and enthusiastic motoring specialist

SLM Toyota Lowestoft couldn’t be more pleased to welcome Kurtis George to the Customer Consultant team here at our Toyota Centre. He joins us with versatile experience in the motor trade, and a real passion for looking after his customers, which suits him perfectly to this exciting ‘customer-centric’ role.

  • In 2021, SLM Toyota Lowestoft engaged in one of Toyota UK’s first trials of the Customer Consultant customer service model, which offers one central, all-encompassing point of contact for our customers, whether it be for servicing, accessories, or buying a new car. Someone to be your ‘go to’ for anything Toyota, for as long as you’re with us. Since it’s inception, the feedback from our customers has been superb!  

    So now, nearly a year down the line, we have begun expanding our already strong team of Customer Consultants, and we are pleased to introduce you to Kurtis George, who, having a hands-on background in both servicing and sales, fits perfectly into this role.  

    Kurtis joins us after entering the motoring industry initially as a mechanic, learning the ins and outs of keeping cars on the road, and helping customers stay safe in their vehicles. He took on this challenge after studying at college, knowing that cars were an interest and viable career prospect. However, it wasn’t long before the itch for customer service needed scratching, and he moved into a sales role. Kurtis excelled in this, reaping the rewards of seeing customers drive away happy in the car of their dreams, and eventually managed an independent forecourt.  

    On seeing the advert for our Customer Consultant opportunity, Kurtis felt most compelled to apply once learning the unique way that the Customer Consultant role operates; following the customer through their vehicle’s lifespan, being that central point of contact, and seeing customer satisfaction beyond the sale of the vehicle. When he expressed this in his interview, we knew that despite his textbook experience, this made him ideal for the role.  

    Although only being with us for a short while, Kurtis is learning all there is to know about the fantastic Toyota car range, and when we asked him what his favourite was so far, he said “well, I try not to be biased, but since working for SLM Toyota Lowestoft, I must say that I really like the C-HR. It suits my family needs, and the drive is simply amazing!”.
