Here at SLM Toyota, we take great pride in being able to help people start their career in the motoring industry, and whilst we understand that often people move onto pastures new to nurture their careers, we feel an indescribable sense of satisfaction when those people return to us after spending time honing their craft in other roles.
This February, we were honoured to be able to once again call Reece Coleman a member of the SLM family, who originally began his career with SLM Toyota as an apprentice technician. Reece has had a colourful career in vehicle mechanics since, working for a number of other main dealers and independent garages, and even as a mobile mechanic.
When we asked Reece why he was keen to come back to SLM Toyota, he told us that after working for a number of businesses of varied shapes and sizes, he sees great value in working for a family run business. He feels that this dynamic would allow greater progression and development in his career and skillset – we’d have to agree with you there Reece!
