Contacted them about used car and requested valuation on ours, very quick response email stating I would be contacted ASAP. Next morning no contact from them so rang and requested a test drive. Told very busy but could do at one o’clock although did request earlier. Travelled down in plenty of time and on arrival told to leave details as busy, explained we had a pre booked test drive. Then discover vehicle is out on test drive and went on to be sold to them. Post this not one sales person made any attempt to acknowledge even thereUnderstand that it’s all about moving stock but when you ring in advance, take the trouble to arrive in plenty of time for this kind ofservicethen suggest you make the second biggest purchase in your lives elsewhere. As a footnote, few years back brought a Volkswagen from a Volvo dealership and when rang for test drive advised at time that it was currently on a test drive and if it didn’t sell we would be contacted, couple of hours later we got a courtesy call, test drove and brought it, that simpleAlan Pillings
Thank you for your review on your experience when dealing with ourselves on a used vehicle and I apologise if your enquiry was not handled to your satisfaction. Having investigated the circumstances I can see that when you submitted your enquiry you unfortunately marked your data preferences as no consent to be contacted meaning we were unable to return your message. Although we have no record of a call from you the following morning we did receive a call from a lady named Alison who I believe may be your partner as she requested a one o’clock appointment to view a pre-owned Qashqai. Unfortunately, due to being very busy with other customers there was no-one free when she arrived although I did meet her personally to explain that there were 3 interested parties on the vehicle in question and that priority was given to the first customer that arrived (which is the morally correct action). Alison and I discussed alternative vehicles of which she took photos and we agreed that she would call us if they were of interest. I also offered to help locate an alternative and she thanked me for my time. Once again, I am sorry you are disappointed with the outcome but as a business we treat everyone equally and it is always a delicate situation when we have more than one interested party in a vehicle at the same time. On the car sale side this dealer is good / friendly - and why not - they want to sell a car. However, the service reception personnel and managers are grim and dire! Not a glimmer of a welcome, no passion to give a good service and most of all, the service manager is rude, aggressive and has a "I don't care" attitude. Every time i leave this dealership i come away feeling angry. If i could give minus 1 star I would jump at it. As an add-on, I will also echo some of the good comments about Simone who I found gave excellent, friendly service. Not seen her in awhile though, so I guess she's had the sense to leave such a depressive workplace.Barry Phillips
