Bought a car from them on may 2023, within 2 months a buzzing weird sound came from music system. They said need to order a part, it's 6 months running and still didn't hear anything from them yet. Very disappointed

From start to finish,I cannot fault the superb service I have received,I was updated throughout,as to when my car would be collected ,to when it would be returned.A real amazing team of staff,who by looking at my car repairs,that they have completed to a very high standard. I was supplied with a courtesy car ,on return my car had been valeted to a high standard. So thankyou to you all ,you are AMAZING .Would recommend SLM in a heartbeat.

Absolutely useless. I rang at 9:45 a.m. and was told that someone would ring me back. I rang several times during the day and the line was busy. I finally got through at 4:45 and was told that no-one could look at my car for "diagnostics" for TEN days. The receptionist said that it was probably a balancing issue. A strange guess without even looking at the car.
I was told that they has had internet issues as a reason for not returning my call.
If they can't answer a phone, I wouldn't trust them with my carThe response from the Business is much appreciated. However, I have already managed to book my car to be checked over in Eastbourne.

Based on your description of the fault, our Senior Service Advisor was able to take an educated guess at what the issue could be, however, without carrying out diagnostics, we cannot be 100% sure. We are currently extremely busy with Diagnostic work so quoted 6 business days to get your vehicle booked in. We apologise for the inconvenience and if you’d like to discuss further, please contact the Aftersales Manager on 01424 854000.

Recently I had the pleasure of purchasing my new vehicle from SLM, when I arrived I was quickly met by my salesman Cameron, who asked me all the normal questions about what I was looking for and budget etc. At no point was I made to feel under pressure and once I had fallen for one of their used Fords,he made it an easy enjoyable experience from start to finish, he even picked me up from home on the morning of the collection. I would highly recommend SLM Select and ask for Cameron !!

Went in for a recall on my Rav 4 , car collected and delivered back. I went to look in the boot to find a damaged boot liner and contents of the boot strewn everywhere. No offer to fix the issue and they deny ever going in the boot which is a total lie. Will never use them again. The lack of empathy or ability to take responsibility by them was zero. My advice is take before and after photos as proof

Bought a electric car off them in May 2023. 2.5 weeks later it developed a fault, which they were unable to look at due to a problem with a machine, with another fault developing one shortly after this. I have made contact on multiple occasions about this, through phone and email, and get informed my details will be passed on to the site manager to call me. I never hear from anyone.
Happy to sell you a used car but seemingly less happy to provide after sales when multiple problems occur that indicate the car was probably not fit for sale.
