    My mot was booked for today and they failed it on the back seat middle belt! Apparently it wasn’t working! I was told I would have to pay £80odd pounds just for them to investigate the problem plus pay for a new seatbelt if neededthey also told me it was unsafe to drive away!! It was a serious default!! They couldn’t sort for another week!! I drove away and then thought I would look at seatbelt and try myself! To my surprise it worked! Would strongly advise anyone going for a MOT or service to find someone more competent and professional than them! Clearly just ripping people off!!

    Very good experience buying a used car here from sales consultant Jack. The car was in great condition. All my questions were answered helpfully and after buying the car I was still able to access help from the team around minor queries that came up. The warranty and MOT upon purchase which were included in the price gave me peace of mind as well. Thank you

    **Stay Clear of SLM Motors and David SiddleHere is the review you was after Mr David! I had a terrible experience purchasing a car from SLM Motors a couple of months ago, and I strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to look elsewhere. From the moment I drove off the lot, it has been nothing but drama and frustration, primarily due to the dishonesty and unprofessionalism of David Siddle. When I bought the car, David assured me that it had £600 worth of work done, including a service. However, shortly after, I experienced a breakdown and had to call the RAC for assistance. After taking the car to a mechanic, I discovered that the DPF filter might be clogged and the EGR could also be an issue. To top it all off, my oil life is at just 10%, but they claim it doesn’t need a service. I had a service booked for Thursday, only for them to cancel it at the last minute—completely messing up my work and holiday plans! I have tried contacting SLM Motors multiple times, but I was passed around like a hot potato without any resolution. No one seems to care about helping customers. When I visited the dealership in person, I was met with indifference from the staff. The management from David Siddle and his team is a joke; it feels like a complete waste of space. Let’s not even get started on the paintwork. I was promised a full valet and polish, but it looks like a child did the polishing—smeared and hazy. I’ve been quoted over £300 to fix that mess! If you’re considering buying a car from SLM Motors, save your money and go elsewhere. You deserve a dealership that prioritizes customer service over lining their own pockets with commission. Avoid SLM Motors at all costs!

    Hi i would like to say that I have used SLM TOYOTA ATTLEBOROUGH for many years having my Rav4 2020 serviced and have always been completely satisfied, so now I thought it time for a change of vehicle, which i have found it's a C-HR Excel 2024 a beautiful car, but things didn't go to plan as positively as they should have, if it hadn't been for the sales person who was Oliver Hayward ( Ollie) I would have walked away from the sale, but this young man went above and beyond to keep me on board with the sale, we picked the car up today absolutely stunning thanks Ollie for your time and effort , you are a credit to your company SLM TOYOTA Best regards Keith

    Always had my nissan vans looked after here, and just had my wife's glc serviced and suspension bushes done today all good was much better n cheaper than mercedes eastbourne

    Got an MOT and service done by SLM, after buying the car from them 11 months ago for £4k. Bill was going to come in over £800. I took it to another garage and they reckon 3 of the 4 major defects were incorrectly assessedNearside Headlamp levelling device inoperativeit failed for this when SLM purchased the car and was 'fixed' and 'passed' before they sold it to me. The car then fails on this again 11 months later, that's a bit odd right? SLM told me it needed replacing at an insane cost, the other garage said the component had just slipped off, 10 second fix, no charge. Central Upper Stop lamp(s) not working - SLM wanted £300+ to fix it. Turns out the car should not have failed on this as the central upper stop lamp is an additional. See image attached for reference to the MOT inspection manual. Other garage put this down as an advisory, not a major. Final major - Offside Front Outer Drive shaft joint constant velocity boot split. SLM fixed this before I authorised the £100 fee to investigate the other issues. You live and learn, I should have got them to investigate all issues and assess the total cost. Total estimated bill with SLM was going to come in at over £800. I had to pay them £430 for the service, MOT, Drive shaft joint boot repair and other assessments. In hindsight I should have just gone to Anchor Service by the ridge. Just saved myself £400. I would give 5 stars to Ed, he's a legend and I've got no issue with the staff. I have an issue with the inflated cost and SLM's profit-driven interpretation of the MOT inspection manual. Go elsewhere.

    Just had my Sandero in for its yearly service and MOT, and again had another thoroughly professional and positive experience with SMC. Isabelle handled my case from start to finish and was friendly and courteous throughout, ironing out a minor quibble of mine very quickly and chasing up documents for me to get me back on the road as soon as possible. I bought the car from SMC and have returned to them for all my work since then. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

    After buying a new car from Vauxhall Hastings, I can say how very happy I was with the experience. The team were very helpful, giving me plenty of time to make my decision. With the test drives I was able to take the car out by myself, which I think is also a nice thing to be able to do. The aftercare has also been extremely professional and lovely. Highly recommend.

    I have been dealing with them over the past 2 years and have to admit that I’m rather disappointed with their service. This is comparing them to the Toyota dealers I dealt with when I lived in Midlands. The staff come across as less polite and less responsible. I nearly bought a new car, but had to cancel the order purely because they are too slow to respond to requests. The phones take time to be answered and emails are not replied to. Incomplete works have to be chased by myself instead of staff members wanting to finish the work. They seem to not keep records of work done and end up telling you to need to bring the car in to find out. Additionally, during the service, their recommendations change as per their convenience and the quote for their work is higher than what is advertised by Toyota website. Would definitely recommend to not buy or use their services.

    We’ve had a personal lease with Dacia since 2025, and our Jogger is less than 1.5 years old. Unfortunately, it has already developed a mechanical issue. We are very disappointed, as we chose a brand-new car specifically to avoid situations like this. We have now been without our car for two days and are still waiting for a response. Dacia Aldershot has not taken responsibility or offered to collect the vehicle, which has made the situation even more frustrating. The lack of communication and support is unacceptable. In contrast, we took a second car from Peugeot (across the street), and so far we are very happy with their service. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company.

    The professionalism, friendliness and knowledge of Sam Collins SLM Vauxhall who helped me purchase my Mokka EV was exceptional. I griddled him with every question under the sun and he patiently answered all my queries. He gave me plenty of time to think through the many options and made understanding them simple. When we hit any hiccups he was down to earth and sorted them. His communication was excellent too. This is backed up by the fact that car has passed the honeymoon period of six months and is still an absolute delight with all its luxury features including for example the modern design and leather interior, keyless entry for quick enhanced safety and ease of entry, the amazing park assist which gets in the most unbelievable of tiniest spaces, the massage seat for stressful moments, the lights that light up a football pitch at night, the clear satnav summary feature behind the steering wheel, and the quality sound system. Plus the attractive charge point installed by partner Octopus is simple to use and very neat both on the wall unit and by mobile app. All in all what’s not to love I would highly recommend!!!

    Went to look at a Cupra as has never driven one before but been highly recommended. The salesman didn't tell me much about the car he simply asked "what do I want to know". He let me sit in the car then said he needs to go upstairs to prepare for a sales meeting. I was left standing in the showroom on my own with no staff around and no-one to ask anything. I left, went to CUPRA Crawley and purchased a Terramar. Their loss - if you want my advice bypass them and go to Crawley they are amazing. I did try calling the manager a few times just to give feedback but he never called me back.
