  Tom was fantastic. Sorted the outstanding finance for my Tiguan. Easy smooth sale for the Porsche we bought, and has been super helpful throughout the whole journey. Was definitely worth the trip 320mile round trip.

  Always had my nissan vans looked after here, and just had my wife's glc serviced and suspension bushes done today all good was much better n cheaper than mercedes eastbourne

  Got an MOT and service done by SLM, after buying the car from them 11 months ago for £4k. Bill was going to come in over £800. I took it to another garage and they reckon 3 of the 4 major defects were incorrectly assessedNearside Headlamp levelling device inoperativeit failed for this when SLM purchased the car and was 'fixed' and 'passed' before they sold it to me. The car then fails on this again 11 months later, that's a bit odd right? SLM told me it needed replacing at an insane cost, the other garage said the component had just slipped off, 10 second fix, no charge. Central Upper Stop lamp(s) not working - SLM wanted £300+ to fix it. Turns out the car should not have failed on this as the central upper stop lamp is an additional. See image attached for reference to the MOT inspection manual. Other garage put this down as an advisory, not a major. Final major - Offside Front Outer Drive shaft joint constant velocity boot split. SLM fixed this before I authorised the £100 fee to investigate the other issues. You live and learn, I should have got them to investigate all issues and assess the total cost. Total estimated bill with SLM was going to come in at over £800. I had to pay them £430 for the service, MOT, Drive shaft joint boot repair and other assessments. In hindsight I should have just gone to Anchor Service by the ridge. Just saved myself £400. I would give 5 stars to Ed, he's a legend and I've got no issue with the staff. I have an issue with the inflated cost and SLM's profit-driven interpretation of the MOT inspection manual. Go elsewhere.

  Callum and Russell looked after me very well with a recent knocking noise on my Mokka. They arranged for it to be covered under the warranty that was supplied when I purchased the car in February. Nice hot coffee too!

  Recently decided It was time for a new car as my old one was giving up on me, Decided to go SLM on a Friday without an appointment and Ian Dye greeted me and was happy to show me a few cars I was interested in. Had everything explained to me and any questions answered about a car I liked, test drove It and it was perfect so I bought the car and picked it up the following Friday I couldn't of asked for a better experience.   After a bad experience with a previous car dealer, I can honestly say this was not the case here. Great communication, availability for test driving and they were so quick to get the car serviced and MOT’d. Three days after testing the car, we are driving round in our snazzy HondaBig thanks to all the team, especially Tom! Definitely recommend.

  Well, what can we say about this company in St Leonards except that it was a great experience. From the time we met David Siddle we bought a car through him and asked for a couple of things to be sorted, before deciding to go ahead. These he agreed to without question and he was always very friendly with a great sense of humour, yet so professional throughout the process. Hopefully things will continue this way and we can only recommend using them. No sales pressure gimmicks and very willing to help and advise. Excellent service, thank you David.

  Had a really straightforward positive experience buying our new car at SLM. Ian was very friendly and approachable and was open to any questions we had. We actually fell in love with a car that wasn’t evenin stockyet and he went above and beyond to ensure we could explore that car as an option. They did an excellent job on the paint repair on the front of the car and ballet was pretty good! Overall our experience with Ian and SLM has been great :)

  Was a pleasure to deal with Tom Larkin at SLM. From start to finish I had excellent service from him. Prior to us visiting to view the car he sent 2 detailed videos of the interior and exterior of the car, which were really helpful as we didn't live locally. There was no pushy sales from him, which is always off putting, he just gave me the details I needed, answered all of the questions I had and explained all of the add ons that were available. On the day I came to collect my car he even came to collect me from the train station, which was much appreciated. Excellent communication throughout the process. I would thoroughly recommend him if you are looking for a new car.

  Had a great experience doing a part exchange with Jack at SLM. We called to ask a few questions about a vehicle and he was incredibly helpful. Due to schedules we were unable to test the car within the reserve period so Jack removed it from the website which gave me some piece of mind. The car was ready to go at the door when we came for a test drive and we were under no pressure with time or to buy. Initially, we weren't planning to do a part exchange as the original vehicle is not one they would sell but Jack said to bring it along and they'd have a look and see what they could do. They took it on and we used the value to get another years warranty on the new one. Jack provided great service and explained everything clearly and was always around if we had any questions. The sale of the vehicle was quick and smooth. Vehicle then went for a new MOT, service and polish as we commented on a few scuff marks on the bodywork. Due to an injury, I was unable to collect the car so Jack kindly drove 45 minutes to deliver it and take the old one. Jack then contacted me a week later to see how everything was going and to contact him if I ever had any issues or questions. Overall, an easy and great experience and a great value car.

  My wife and I recently purchased a Ford Puma with the help of David Siddle. David was brilliant from start to finish - going out in the rain to film a video of the car when I first called him, and offering us a lift from the railway station when we arrived for the test-drive and pickup. He was friendly and good humoured all the way through, and clearly knows his job very well. We felt in safe hands throughout, there was no hint of a hard sell - he seemed to just want us to be happy with our choices, which we absolutely are. The handover was delightful too, as the team ensured the car was in great shape and there was a nice welcome message waiting for us. You're in safe hands with this company and with David in particular. Canny good!

  Dealt with Jack Humm which was an easy laid back process resulting in my purchase of my chosen vehicle. No pressure but clear, concise help and what additional products were available to complement my purchase. I would return to SLM for future purchases and deal with Jack again.

  Just purchased our first EV car today from SLM. We were looked after by Jack from start to finish. Most of my communication was through email due to my busy schedule with family life and work and Jack was so helpful and quick at replying, even if it It was a complicated process on my side as we had to sell our car first and had to wait on the funds but it was no problem for SLM and we finally got it sorted and Jack made it so much less stressful and was totally understanding. When it came to pick up day it was easy and well explained. Our second car from SLM and couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you SLM Select- especially JackI've had to update my review due to the really bad after sales/after care. I noticed problems with the car- brakes were squealing and a grinding noise , could also feel the grinding while driving. Due to buying the car in February and it being cold we also hadn't opened the windows yet. The first time we used the passenger window less than 2 weeks after purchased, it wouldn't go back up. It would go up then fall back down again. It has been nearly 6 weeks since I reported it. Took a week for them to get the car in. The brake disc were scorn, deeply enough for them to say the needed replacing. All 4 discs were the same so were sold in that condition. The window also was found to be faulty- seal apparently on the wrong way. I have called countless times to be told warranty wouldn't cover it- but warranty shouldn't have to do it as it was sold in this condition and window wasn't checked. So it was passed on to after sales- was promised someone would call- nothing. Past on to after sales manager- another promise, nothing. I've done all the chasing and had nothing back. It's exhausting to get the car i bought for money that is alot for us and a car I drive my children in. It's incredibly upsetting as this is our second car from here but this experience isn't working out as well. 6-7 weeks after reporting the issues I am still having to chase

  I recently bought a car off the team at SLM select, right from the 1st phone call until I signed for the keys Tom went out of his way to make the whole process run smoothly. Living in Northern Ireland I was unable to see the car in person Tom sent detailed videos of the car answering any questions I had. When I arrived to pick the car up he had everything ready making the handover an easy 15 min process. I would have no problem recommending Tom and SLM select. Definitely a 5 Star experience

  Ian provided excellent customer service. From walking onto the forecourt to driving away took less than 24 hours, and he made the entire experience smooth and hassle-free. He was professional throughout, helped with gap insurance and road tax, and ensured the car was spotless on collection. He even followed up a few days later with a phone call to check we were happy. I’d highly recommend coming here - and asking for Ian if he’s available.
