Took my Toyota Yaris here after returning to a faulty battery after going on Holiday. Staff were very helpful in testing the battery, fitting a new one, and even cleaned my car inside and out within an hour while I sat in the lounge and waited, all under warranty. This saved me a lot of stress as I am always driving around whether its University or Work. Family members have had bad experiences in the past with wait times and debating whether their cars are under warranty or not, so I hope the fast and stress-free experience I received will continue! Customer consultant Nathan Webb is professional, patient and kind. I recently went in for an issue with my car and was not happy about some of the processes that Toyota have over repairs and warranty. I was frustrated and fed up and expressed this (although it was not directed at him). He dealt with it with patience and listened to my points. When I returned he met me with a smile and the same level of professionalism despite me complaining on my previous visit. Customer consultants like this are worth their weight in gold and as frustrated as I still am with the process of repairs with Toyota, I would return to this branch because of Nathan.

Excellent service from SLM Lowestoft in 2025. Bought two AygoX cars which we have now had for a couple months . They are economic and nippy little grocery getters. Especially ideal for short journeys but also it is happy cruising at 70mph on motorway trips to Liverpool Wales and elsewhere. Press a button to start the car . A large media and onboard sat nav system fires up together with a wireless charging tray for the mobile phone . You can choose an upgraded sound system, black allow wheels and other bells & whistles if you want upgrade. Sales staff were polite helpful efficient and cheerful. Methodically taking us through the financing (and pitching the extra insurance and other protections ). SLM is bit tucked away in Lowestoft (London Road South one way system just before the cinema). Plenty of parking space and well with going to have a look. If they haven't got the exact motor you want right there, then they probably have it at one of their other branches which can all be viewed online or from a showroom terminal when you speak to the sales team .

I was told when calling into the garage for a touch up paint that my car needed a recall and Sean booked it in for me at a time convenient to me. When arriving at the garage for the recall to be done I asked if I could wait for the car and was told ‘no problem’. When the work was completed Jack gave me the keys, he also asked if I had any satisfaction with We Power Your Car regarding the installation of my wallbox. My answer was no. I am still waiting for the work to be done and for them to contact me after the promise of a phone call before the end of business today - I am still waiting!!

Positive experience throughout the process! My previous car was coming to the end of its PCP with another dealer - who weren’t able to provide me with a suitable car at a reasonable price. A car came up with SLM which fitted the bill for us and the price that was offered was cheaper than our previous dealership’s PCP despite the car being bigger, higher spec, yet the same age. Jack and Sean were great throughout the purchase, with Jack being very understanding and courteous through. The follow ups I’ve received afterwards have left me feeling like a valued customer. Already I’ve received a couple of well mannered check ins from Toyota as well as SLM, all with a personal touch.

Sales Consultant Paul made sure that, even with Covid-19 measures in place, the whole process of buying a new car from SLM was conducted in a Covid secure way and at all times we felt that our health and safety was their main priority. The car was delivered in pristine condition, as we would expect, and Paul made sure that we understood all of its new features fully before letting us drive away. I'll first say that some things aren't what I'm used to from the US, thus the 4* vs 5*. I will say that for a small town like Lowestoft, the sales team is great. Especially with a brand that isn't big in the area. I love Toyota as a brand. SLM has bought out of the previous owner. There is an issue with correspondence. Things for Lowestoft are run thru the Norwich center. This is my issue. Your point of contact is Norwich (when you get a letter). I recently scheduled service. They scheduled me for Norwich. I had to correct the agent that I was in Lowestoft. This should have been automatically picked up. I canceled that appointment, but still got a call from Lowestoft asking if I was coming in. So they need to get their lines fixed. (Didn't have this problem with the previous owner). However, our sales agent just got us an incredible deal! So I will not take that away from them! Trading out of one into another with way more features at essentially the same price! That's what I expect from Toyota! They want to keep you, and keep you happy!
