I visited Norwich to learn more about the RAV 4 prior to taking delivery of a new vehicle. While looking around the demonstrator James quietly approached to offer his assistance - what a fortunate experience. He explained the basic functions and highlights of the car in clear, jargon free language. When I returned to pick up my new car I asked for James to complete the handover as I had been so impressed with him before. I was not disappointed - his knowledge, expertise and ability to explain functions clearly were again abundant. James ensured our test drive demonstrated many of the vehicle’s characteristics. He took time and patience to make sure I had a good understanding of the car, controls and set ups. All in all James provided high class customer service with nothing being too much trouble. He is extremely adept and is highly knowledgeable of the product he sells. I cannot speak more highly of him.

I love my Yaris but did have a few problems after l had purchased it. They should have replaced the 12 volt battery but failed to do so and after less than a week l couldn’t start my car. I got it back to them and they changed it then, also we were waiting around in their showroom for a long time, the salesman had gone off with another customer and took our keys with him! I hope when l return it for a service that the waiting time is a lot less.

Normally they would vacuum the whole inside of the car, sadly this time they didn't. When asked about it I was told that this will be brought up to manager but wouldn't be able to do that this time or get a partial refund as it is a free service. On the other hand the price went up since last year hence I would expect improvement. They however provide my car with both new screen wiper blades which are far better than before.

SLM Toyota were very helpful in getting me a good deal for my new Yaris Cross. All the staff were polite, responsive and attentive. I am thrilled with my new car. It is everything I wanted apart from one thing. At the time of ordering I asked, and paid for, the city pack which would have enhanced the car with a variety of extras including 360 degree cameras. Unfortunately, on pick up day I was informed that the pack had not been ordered. This was quite upsetting as my only options were; take the car without the pack or refuse to take the car and wait another six months for a new car to be built. I disliked being faced with a fait accompli but felt I had no real choice but to accept the car as it was. Naturally, I gave the sales manager a piece of my mind and, to be fair, he was extremely apologetic and made some compensatory gestures. It took the dairy of the day however.

Went for a test drive in the bz4x, currently Toyota's only electric car. We were taken out by James who was absolutely brilliant in terms of knowledge and patience, answering all our questions and providing a clear explaination of the car's features. Past experiences of main dealers has been very mixed but this was what I would hope for. Information gathering without pressure. James made sure we were aware of various Toyota incentives and deals but at no point did it feel too much. It's a bit of a strange old place. Stood waiting at the service counter for a good ten minutes for someone to see me. At least four members of staff walked past. Wouldn't have taken much to just check in with me or give the old "someone will be with you shortly" line. A 'front of house' sales person came and checked eventually and then I was seen to immediately after that. I like that they offer free hot drinks whilst you are waiting though. That is good.

My Toyota has been to the body shop for three days following a neighbours greenhouse being damaged in the recent storms and the glass flying onto our property and damaging the offside doors. Despite this being deemed an ‘act of God’ by the insurance company SLM looked at the damage had the car in within the week and has done a great repair for a good price. Their work, professionalism, and contact have been first rate and I would recommend them.

The vehicle was a toyota demo and came with that radio and turns out the glitch was actually an ABS sensor! Their online booking system for service is not great it accepted my chosen date and my request for a car, but later after they didn't contact me to confirm, I chased them up only to be told they didn't have a car and the time and date I chose online was not possible. Not a good start for my first contact with this company. I have given 4 stars because despite the booking problems the actual work done on my Yaris was quick and the staff on the day were most helpful and polite.
