The SLM Group Quarterly Catch-up: Q3 2025

Here’s a look back at everything we made happen together this quarter.

• This quarter was full of energy, connection, and community spirit. Whether it’s the way we’ve come together to support causes that matter, spark conversations about sustainability, or give back to our customers, Q3 has been a true reflection of the passion and purpose driving everyone at SLM Group. 

  Backing Our Local Cricket Clubs

  As part of Toyota’s ongoing ECB Cricket partnership, our SLM Toyota centres have been proudly backing local clubs through the Good for Cricket Prize Draw. Together, we’ve already raised over £1,600 for grassroots cricket:

  • SLM Toyota Lowestoft teamed up with Broadland Cricket Club and helped raise £210 of their £250 target.
  • SLM Toyota Uckfield joined forces with Buxted Park Cricket Club, raising an impressive £585 — more than double their £250 target!
  • SLM Toyota Attleborough supported Rocklands Cricket Club, who smashed their goal and raised £505 for a £250 target.
  • SLM Toyota Norwich partnered with Norwich Cricket Club, which has so far raised £385!

  It’s brilliant to see the difference these efforts are making in helping cricket thrive.

  Giving Back, One Car at a Time

  Continuing our commitment to supporting local causes, at SLM Group we donate £1 to our chosen charities for every new or used car we sell. This quarter, we were proud to kick things off with our Q2 cheque presentations to two charities close to our hearts:

  • The Sara Lee Trust received a donation of £604, bringing the total contribution to an incredible £47,642.
  • Nelson’s Journey was presented with £764, taking our overall support since 2018 to £17,861.

  Both charities expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone at SLM Group who helped to make these donations possible. It’s a great reminder that each sale plays a part in making a real difference.

  65 Years of Service, Community, and Care

  Thanks to your support, SLM Group has now raised an incredible £65,503 for charity — a fitting milestone as we lead up to our 65th celebration on 11th October.

  Andrew Bullimore, our Operations Director, said: “Reaching 65 years is about recognising the hard work of our teams, the loyalty of our customers, and the strong foundations that will carry us forward.”

  As part of marking this milestone, we also wanted to give something back to our customers. Everyone who’s bought a new Toyota during our 65-day lead-up has been entered into our £6,500 prize draw, as a special thank you as we look ahead to the next chapter.

• This Quarter in Action

  This summer, we were busy connecting, supporting, and celebrating with our communities. From cricket clubs to carnivals, our teams were out making a difference every step of the way.

  July

  Alpine Arrives in Weybridge

  July brought an exciting milestone for SLM Group with the official launch of Alpine Store Weybridge. Bringing over 70 years of French motorsport heritage to Surrey, the new showroom showcases Alpine’s distinctive design, racing spirit, and innovative edge. It’s a bold new chapter for our Weybridge centre and our teams can’t wait to welcome enthusiasts and new fans alike.

  Village Fayre Fun

  SLM Toyota Attleborough had a brilliant day out at the Holme Hale Village Fayre on 12th July. Families stopped by our stand all afternoon, and the Hilux proved a big talking point with the farming community!

  Swinging into Action at Cooden Beach

  SLM Toyota Hastings were delighted to sponsor the Rotary Club’s charity golf day at Cooden Beach Golf Club on 17th July. A full day of golf, followed by a meal and evening entertainment, made for a brilliant event from start to finish. 

  Electric Energy in Norwich

  On 18th July, our Norwich, Attleborough and Lowestoft teams joined the Travel Norfolk Electric Event at The Forum. With busy stands, lively talks, and plenty of curious visitors, it was an amazing day to showcase Toyota’s and GWM’s electrified line-up. People loved chatting with our teams about greener driving and the buzz around EVs in the city was fantastic!

  Carnival Spirit in Bexhill

  SLM Toyota Hastings once again led the Bexhill Carnival parade on 26th July with a RAV4, setting the tone for a colourful, music-filled procession through town. Later, at the “Party on the Field”, we joined in the evening celebrations with a vibrant display. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, share some laughs, and be part of such a well-loved local tradition.

• August

  Cricket at Broadland

  SLM Toyota Lowestoft headed to Broadland Cricket Club on 16th August to support the match and enjoy a sunny afternoon of cricket. A relaxed day with plenty of excitement on the pitch and a great chance to meet some of the team. 

  Fireworks on the Pier

  On 22nd August, SLM Toyota Lowestoft joined thousands of people on the seafront for the spectacular Claremont Pier Fireworks. Our all-electric bZ4X turned plenty of heads before the sky lit up. A truly memorable evening!

  We are also especially proud to be supporting the restoration of the Pier’s boardwalk, in a project that means so much to the town.

  Cricket at Buxted Park

  SLM Toyota Uckfield enjoyed another summer’s day at Buxted Park Cricket Club on 23rd August, sponsoring a key match and cheering from the sidelines. Great sport, great atmosphere, and a great way to get involved in the action.

• September

  Walk of Smiles

  On 20th September, we were proud to support Nelson’s Journey with their Walk of Smiles, a 17-mile challenge to raise vital funds for bereaved children and young people. We lent a trusty Hilux to help carry equipment and refreshments along the way, making sure the walkers were well supported on their journey.

  Planet Positive in Lowestoft

  Also on 20th September, our Lowestoft team joined the Planet Positive event at Sparrow’s Nest Gardens. This was a full day dedicated to sustainability and greener living. Our all-electric bZ4X fitted in perfectly alongside the eco stalls and activities, and we loved meeting so many people who are as passionate about a cleaner future as we are.

  Bowls with Uckfield

  20th September got even busier as SLM Toyota Uckfield supported Wealden Bowls Club’s Annual Open Day. It was a nice opportunity to connect with members and commemorate our long-standing partnership with the club.

• Looking Back — and Ahead

  Q3 was all about summer spirit, local pride, and making memories. It’s been the perfect reminder of why community is at the heart of everything we do at SLM Group.

  From lively carnivals and village fayres to fireworks on the seafront and eco-events in the park, our teams were out and about, proudly flying the SLM Group flag. Each event gave us the chance to meet new faces, catch up with familiar ones, and celebrate the season together.

  As we look forward to our 65th celebration, here’s to more moments like these and whatever Q4 has in store!
