SLM Toyota Uckfield sees two bright and customer-centric additions to aftersales team

This October, our Toyota Uckfield welcomes two new additions to it’s aftersales team, both keen, enthusiastic, and with a thirst for good customer service. Meet Hannah Gilmour and Thomas Selby.

• Hannah Gilmour 

  Firstly, we’d like you to meet Hannah, who takes on the exciting role of Trainee Aftersales Advisor in the team.  

  This is an exciting time for both us and Hannah, as this is her first role in motoring industry. This means that Hannah gets to learn all there is about our wonderful business and all it’s customers, and find her feet in a rewarding and fulfilling career. It’s also great for us, as we get to take an individual with a strong natural customer service ability, and mold into the perfect aftersales advisor.  

  Whilst Hannah has no background in motoring, she has a general interest in cars, and regularly attends car shows. It wasn’t much of a surprise that when we asked what her favourite car in the Toyota range was, she said it was the New GR Yaris, saying “it’s an eye catcher, and everyone wants one!”.  

  Vince Riseborough, Aftersales Manager at Toyota Uckfield welcomes Hannah to the team, saying “Hannah is new to the motor industry but has fitted into the team very easily; she is already showing great potential in her new job role and is a pleasure to have in the department. She is polite, friendly and has a customer centric attitude, I look forward to 2022 with Hannah as an integral part of the team here at Uckfield.”

• Thomas Selby 

  Last, but certainly not least, is Thomas who also joins our Uckfield aftersales team as Aftersales Adviser. 

  Thomas brings three years experience with him, having worked for Birchwood Group previously in an aftersales capacity. This valuable main dealer background allows to Thomas to hit the ground running in his new role, and will no doubt be helping to mentor Hannah as she settles in too. 

  Thomas interviewed very well, showing his passion for our industry, and articulating all that he’d learned in his previous role. When we asked him what he found the most rewarding part of his role, he said that hands down it was the feeling he gets knowing that a customer is walking away satisfied with the service he has delivered.  

  Vince Riseborough, Aftersales Manager at Toyota Uckfield says that Tom is already making waves, despite being in role for only a few weeks: “I am very pleased to welcome Tom into the aftersales team at Uckfield, he has slotted into his job role very easily, and is a pleasure to work with. Tom is already showing a positive impact on the department’s performance, I look forward to 2022 with him on board.”
