SLM Toyota Uckfield Dog Walk Raises Money for Red Nose Day

Local dog owners came down to SLM Toyota Uckfield on Saturday (28th February) to take part in a Sponsored Dog Walk to raise money for Red Nose Day 2015. Around 20 pooches took part in the 5 mile walk, along with their enthusiastic owners who braved the rainy weather. The walk started at the dealership then continued to West Park, Rocks Park, Manor Park, Buxted Park, the Rugby Club and back to SLM. A well earned drink of water and a biscuit was waiting for the dogs on their return, and of course tea, coffee and cake for the owners! Prizes were given out for Best Behaved Dog, Waggiest Tail and Worst Behaved Dog! Toyota TV came down to film the event and we are hoping it will be shown during the official Comic Relief programme on Friday 13th March. It was a brilliant day and we hope both dogs and owners who attended had a great time. We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone involved and to everyone who has donated so far - we raised over £270 on the day and have now raised over £1,000 towards our overall Red Nose Day target!
