SLM Toyota Lowestoft and Norwich achieves Gold in Best Employer in Town
SLM Group are delighted to announce that both SLM Toyota Lowestoft and SLM Toyota Norwich have been awarded Gold in Toyota's Best Employer in Town (BEiT) Accreditation.

What is Best Employer in Town (BEiT)?
The BEit Accreditation is a People Standard and Framework that demonstrates a company's commitment to supporting, enhancing, and guiding their employees. This certification also reflects the dedication to driving workplace culture, leadership practices and people processes for all of our employees.

How did we achieve the Gold award (Excelling at BEiT)?
Toyota evaluated us based on their on their standard, which consists of three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, with the framework specifically examining how we care for our employees.
Toyota completed their assessment and an independent site visit with both the team's at Lowestoft and Norwich, which led to the outcome giving both centres a Gold Accreditation. This means that Toyota feel as though culture and values have changed within the business to the extent that BEIT best practice has become part of the DNA, making us an employer of choice.

‘Having successfully achieved Silver Best Employer In Town Accreditation from Toyota for all 5 of our Toyota Centres in December last year, we are delighted to have achieved the first of our Gold Accreditations at both Lowestoft and Norwich Toyota.
Following an in depth audit process our fantastic teams have demonstrated on-going developments of our induction, training and adaptable and flexible working practices whilst fully embracing the need to evolve our business model for the future.
