SLM Toyota Attleborough Sponsors Morley Beer Festival

Here at SLM Toyota, we are proud to sponsor the Morley Beer Festival which took place on the 8th June. Our SLM Toyota Attleborough team members attended the event to help raise money for some amazing causes, as well as celebrating local beverages, food and art. This year, the festival supported Star Throwers and Morley Village and Sports Hall.

Star Throwers are a local cancer support charity in Norfolk which is dedicated to providing holistic support for people which are affected by cancer. The charity empowers people to take control of their cancer journey by helping them understand cancer and the treatments available to them, including clinical trials and alternative treatments.

The Morley Village and Sports Hall is a community venue which boasts one of the largest sports halls in South Norfolk. The hall is available to hire for events and parties and is run entirely by volunteers who work hard to upgrade the facilities for its community.

The event proved to be a true success despite the typical English weather. The SLM team enjoyed spending the day celebrating the local community and being involved in such a brilliant cause. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about some of our Hybrid models such as the all new RAV4 and Corolla, which we took with us to the event.

With a number of brilliant music acts, the Morley Beer Festival showcased some of the finest local talents. Those who attended enjoyed a whole host of local ales, ciders, gins and street food, whilst enjoying a family friendly day. Face painting, hair braiding, singing and dancing, are just some of the fun activities that took place at the festival.

Despite the bad weather, it was a fantastic turn out and we are excited to find out how much was raised for the nominated charities.
