Here at SLM Toyota Attleborough, we are extremely pleased to have presented a £1,800 cheque to the local primary school as a well deserved grant from the Toyota Fund for a Better Tomorrow application.
Attleborough Primary School applied for a grant through Toyota's Fund for a Better Tomorrow platform and were successfully awarded the grant to create a new play area/wild space for the children to build, dig, experiment and work collaboratively for years to come.
The new space will also be accessible to the local Rainbow and Brownies groups, enabling a whole host of local children and communities to benefit from the new wild area.
The planned area is structured around the narrative of a wild landscape, allowing young people to take part in rare wilderness experiences which are often hard to come by nowadays.
The new area is designed to reflect a macro landscape - from seaside to dense forest through grassland, river and fen and will help children to understand and accept the purpose and importance of nature, as well as personally extending attributes of resilience, self-independance and team work.
The Attleborough Primary School is thrilled to be adding such an exciting new area for their children and hope it will provide value experiences and memories for their pupils.
SLM Toyota Attleborough are proud to once again support an important member of the local community with the Toyota Fund for a Better Tomorrow.
