5‑Star Review for Rebecca and Kieran at SMC Woking. We want to share our appreciation for the outstanding customer service we always receive from Rebecca and Kieran at SMC Woking. Every time we’ve had recurring issues with our Seat Leon, they have shown exceptional care, attention, and professionalism. Kieran provided truly personal service by collecting our car for its recent service, reassuring us that all previous issues had been fully resolved, and then returning it to us beautifully valeted and with a full tank of petrol. His support made a real difference during what had been a stressful period for us. Rebecca is consistently understanding and empathetic. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, keeps us fully updated throughout the process, and always makes us feel listened to and supported. Her communication and customer care are second to none. Both Rebecca and Kieran have gone above and beyond to help us, showing genuine care and commitment. I bought my first car here in Woking and it was second hand and it was a Seat Ibiza hatchback. I was looking for a small/medium size car. The process was all explained very well but I didn't catch the sales person name who dealt with my case. The test drive was great and really had fun driving the car. Afterwards the paperwork was very simple and clear and explained well and once it was done, I picked the car up the following weekend after they had done the necessary checks on the car. Definitely recommend this garage as really enjoyed the whole experience.

From the initial phone call, all the way through to the collection of my car, Rebecca was extremely helpful with assisting with an issue I had with my car. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way. The issue was resolved quickly, the car cleaned to a super standard and the courtesy car provided was more than adequate. Definitely one of the better experiences I’ve had at a dealership, many thanks!

Outstanding professionalism, and courtesy and patience today by Oliver Broad at SEAT St. Johns branch. Nothing was too much. Oliver never pushed and went through purchase scenarios. Shocking, avoid at all costs. It took a month to order a part, then another month to get a date to fix the part. Then on the day, they took my car, held it for 7 hours and called me to say they were short staffed and could not replace the part. No service, no apology just a shocking attitude and one that Renault (as a Brand) should be concerned about.

The only reason I brought a car from SMC Woking last year is because they were family owned business and offered nice services such as - a free pick up and drop off, free car wash after service, free courtesy car for warranty repairs. SLM brought the company recently and took all of that away. Turned a premium brand like CUPRA into one of their other cheap brand, with cheap service levels and started charging for everything. Every service centre I've used previously including Citygate offered a free wash and vacuum. SMC charged me £16 for it last time. Tried to complain multiple times and got a lecture from the manager on how much money they saved. Why would I ever buy a car from SMC again? New owners brought a family owned business and ruined it. Nice work!

Terrible customer service numerous problems with the car I got from them (approved used ) main one being water leaking into my boot space they claimed they had found a part of it had sealant that had been used that wasn’t there manufactures sealant which voided the issue from warranty hadn’t even had the car a year got the car being told I had 2 years warranty when getting it so the last thing I would of done was take it any where else to have work done on it wanted £800 pound for it to be corrected which I refused contacted higher above the branch got no where pasted from manger to manger avoid here at all costs !

Newly refurbished inside since my last visit and looks really stylish with the new seating area with music and a big screen TV to watch...tea and coffee provided whilst you wait as I was getting the car serviced...only thing that let me down was that I had a major service and brake fluid changed no complimentary car wash and hoover which was disappointing but the staff are friendly on sales Rebecca is easy to deal with and helpful

I have now purchased 3 cars through Nick at SMC, they are great reliable cars. Nick always does what he can to ensure I get the best deal and is very knowledgeable and professional. I have also dealt with Steve, the manager, who is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I have owned several Renault cars over the years, and have always dealt with Renault Aldershot. Yes, the parking there leaves a lot to be desired, but having several automotive in such a small area parking can be difficult. With my last car I dealt with John Walton, who was excellent. So changing my car again I went back to John and am very pleased with the service.

I’ve personally been with the Seat Woking garage for many years now and it’s where I originally bought my Tarraco. I get my service and repairs carried out with them which has always been done to a high standard. I’ve always had a great experience with the staff and felt well looked after. Special thanks and appreciation to Rebecca my service advisor who is very knowledgeable, patient and professional taking time to explain works carried out and also thanks to Carl the manager who has assisted in the background ensuring repairs and maintenance run smoothly delivering a service that has a family run feel. I would definitely recommend Seat Woking to my family and friends and look forward to using the Garage again with confidence in the future. It’s nice to know genuine OEM parts are being used and fitted by professionally trained mechanics and technicians that gives me peace of mind. Many thanks to the team. Paul Eastwood

After buying a Approved Used Seat from Aldershot, I really cannot recommend them at all. Before handing over our hard earned money the car we bought required new rear discs which they agreed to do but refused to fit new pads and said its fine to use the old pads on new discs ? Should have rang the alarm bells then tbh So while the car was under its 2 year warranty the problems we had were infotainment screen going blank on many many occasions, micro switch on dsg gearbox failed and within a few weeks of purchase, the start stop not working due to a faulty battery that we had to fight tooth and nail to get replaced. Regarding the battery, I'm no mechanic but when the start/stop stopped working I had it tested and it showed it wasn't holding charge. I explained this to Seat Aldershot and asked that they replace it under warranty to which they said, we would need to leave the car with them. We left the car on a Friday and received a call early the next week to say they road tested the car and could not find a fault and the start stop was working. The also stated they tested the battery and it was fine but they put the battery on charge over the weekendI'm not sure why they charged the battery if there wasn't a problem with it as they statedWe reluctantly collected the car early the next week. Upon collecting the car, the car had gained over 100 milesI'm not sure it needed a 100 mile test drive and sure the start stop would have stopped working driving around Aldershot town for 10 minutesOn the way home from collecting the car, guess what. Yes that's right, the start/stop, stopped working. Called the same rude person to explain the start stop is not working and requested the battery be changed as it was faulty, as I had already explained to them. After alot of emails back and forwards Seat Aldershot finally agreed to replace the battery. Once the battery was changed, there was no further problems with the start/stop as expected but the hassle we went through and certain rude staff we had to communicate with was unbelievable. Terrible experience with Seat Aldershot. If they started listening to their customers it would be a start but I for one have no plans to ever go back to Seat Aldershot

Had our Seat serviced at Woking twice to keep the warranty on the car for the first two years after purchasing as a Appoved Used Seat. Had to pay £220 for the minor service (oil and filter, they used 0w30) and also had to pay £369 for their Major service (listed as air filter, spark plug, cleaner, oil filter, washer, od filter and 5w40 oil). Not sure why they used 2 different grades of oil at each service when it was on a 10k service scheduleNow the car is out of warranty I took it to a trusted independent garage. I purchased all Genuine OEM parts for a full service for just over £100 and was charged £90 labour so £190 for a full service. At the independent garage I was able to watch the service work being carried out on the car and see the condition of the parts removed. First of all the air filter and pollen filter were absolutely filthy (not what I've seen after 10/20k before) When changing the spark plugs, 2 of the plugs were so lose my mechanic unscrewed them using his fingersagain the plugs looked like they had done alot more than 10/20k miles and threads were rusted) Since having my car serviced at a trusted independent garage i know all parts have been channged and the car is driving much better than it was. I assume this is due to the spark plugs being torqued down properly and not rattling around in the head and the fact they are now earthing in the head as they should have been. The mechanic said he had never seen this on a car in all the years he has been in the trade. Truly shocking experience and will be contacting Seat UK to make them aware

We have reviewed our records and can see the last service you had was a minor service which does not include an air or pollen filter and you where not charged for these items. I can also see that service did not include spark plugs and the online diagnostics log was clear indicating no stored faults for loose spark plugs or related issues.
