The Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric has triumphed at the EcoCar Electrified Top 50 Awards, claiming the prestigious title of ‘2024 EcoCar Electrified Car of the Year’. This impressive crossover beat all other electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid cars to secure the top spot.
In addition to being named the best electrified car of 2024, the Scenic E-Tech also won the ‘Best Medium SUV’ category. Ian Robertson, Editor and Publisher of Diesel&EcoCar, praised Renault's transformation of the Scenic, stating, “Renault has reinvented its Scenic for 2024, turning it into a stylish family five-seater SUV with contemporary looks. The switch to a pure electric E-Tech powertrain, offering up to 379 miles of range, marks a significant upgrade.”
Robertson continued, highlighting the vehicle's luxurious interior: “The Scenic boasts one of the best interiors in a Renault model, featuring sustainable fabric materials, ample space, and a responsive Android-based operating system with familiar smartphone-style apps.”

The Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric is designed to meet modern family needs with a focus on sustainability. It features a compact motor (125kW/170hp or 160kW/220hp) and a battery pack (60kW or 87kWh) for a range of up to 379 miles. The 87kWh version offers three trim levels: techno, esprit Alpine, and iconic, while the 60kWh model is available in techno trim, starting at £37,495 OTR.
Renault Clio E-Tech Full Hybrid Shines at EcoCar Awards
The Renault Clio E-Tech full hybrid also made a significant impact at the EcoCar Electrified Top 50 Awards, being named the ‘Best Hybrid Small Car’. Ian Robertson highlighted the Clio's standout features, stating, “The Clio is our favorite small hybrid and supermini. It excels with its stylish design, advanced technology, and impressive hybrid powertrain, outperforming competitors with ease. Remarkably, it’s available at just £21,495, providing excellent value.”

Available in three trim levels – evolution, techno, and esprit Alpine – the Clio starts at £21,495 OTR.
