The New Renault Trafic E-Tech 100% Electric: Available for Pre-Orde

The new Renault Trafic E-Tech 100% electric is now open for pre-order, starting at £34,500 plus VAT after the £5,000 PiVG (Plug-in Van Grant). Official orders will commence in June, with first deliveries expected in September.

Building on this legacy, the new Trafic E-Tech 100% electric joins Renault's fully-electric LCV lineup, positioned between the Kangoo E-Tech electric and the Master E-Tech electric.

  Versatile and High-Performing

   

  The new Trafic E-Tech 100% electric retains the robust performance and versatility of its ICE counterpart. It offers a wide range of specifications and customization options, available in two body lengths (5.08m and 5.48m) and two heights (1.967m and 2.498m), providing load spaces from 5.8m³ to 8.9m³. The LWB version can carry loads up to 4.15 meters in length, with a towing capacity of up to 920kg and a maximum payload of 1,222kg.

   

  Practical Interior

   

  Inside, the Trafic E-Tech offers up to 88 liters of storage space, including 19.7 liters in the console, 14.6 liters in the doors, and 54 liters in the bench. It continues the tradition of being the first LCV equipped with a “mobile office,” now standard on the new Trafic E-Tech electric. The middle passenger seat folds down to create a convenient work desk or meal table, complete with a detachable A4 clipboard and a laptop storage slot.

   

  Impressive Electric Performance

   

  The new Trafic E-Tech electric is powered by a 90kW (120hp) electric motor delivering 245Nm of torque. Its 52kWh lithium-ion battery offers a driving range of up to 186 miles (WLTP) on a single charge. It supports rapid DC charging up to 50kW, fully recharging the battery in just an hour. Additionally, a single-phase 7kW AC charger is compatible with all home outlets, while 22kW AC fast charging at public stations provides a 31-mile range boost in less than 25 minutes. An 8-year, 100,000-mile battery warranty ensures sustained performance, with free battery replacement if capacity drops below 70%.

  The Trafic E-Tech features the MyRenault smartphone app and the Easy Link multimedia system, enabling scheduled battery charging, remote battery status monitoring, and scheduled cab pre-heating. It also provides route planning with charging points and reachable destinations based on remaining battery range.Exclusively offered in a well-equipped Advance specification, the Trafic E-Tech electric includes:
