The All-New Dacia Spring is named ‘Bargain of the Year’

The All-New Dacia Spring has made a significant impact, earning the title of ‘Best Car Bargain of the Year 2024/2025’ from the esteemed Best Cars of the Year organization. This accolade, awarded by a panel of top automotive designers, engineers, industry leaders, motorsport icons, and media professionals, highlights the exceptional value and versatility of the Dacia Spring, a pure-electric vehicle that's setting new standards in the EV market.

  Making waves at the recent British Motor Show, the All-New Dacia Spring, priced at just £14,995 on-the-road, is currently the UK’s most affordable new electric car. As excitement builds ahead of its first customer deliveries later this year, orders are now open, with static left-hand-drive models on display at Dacia retailers nationwide, offering customers the chance to experience the vehicle firsthand.

   

  This recognition from Best Cars of the Year marks the second consecutive win for Dacia, following the Dacia Jogger’s success at last year’s awards. Dr. Andy Palmer, one of the judges, praised the Dacia Spring, stating, "The Dacia Spring is a standout for those seeking an affordable, practical, and efficient electric vehicle, particularly for urban driving and short to medium commutes.

   

  "The All-New Dacia Spring is redefining the electric vehicle market with its unbeatable combination of value, standard features, and everyday usability. Available in Expression and Extreme trim levels, it boasts a range of up to 140 miles (WLTP combined) or 186 miles (WLTP urban). Customers can choose between a 45 hp or a more powerful 65 hp/48 kW motor. The compact 26.8 kWh battery can be charged from 20% to 100% in less than 11 hours using a standard domestic outlet, or in just four hours with a 7kW charger.

   

  The standard features include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors, a Media Control system with USB port, electric front windows, and remote central locking, ensuring that the Dacia Spring offers not just affordability, but also a comprehensive suite of modern conveniences.
