DOUBLE WIN FOR DACIA AT THE 2024 WHAT CAR? CAR OF THE YEAR AWARDS

Dacia continues to impress at the What Car? Car of the Year Awards, with the Sandero and Jogger securing titles as 'Best Small Car for Value' and 'Best Seven-seater for Value,' respectively.

This marks the third consecutive year the Sandero has claimed this honor, and the eleventh time it has been recognized at the event. The What Car? judges were once again drawn to its unmatched value, practicality, efficiency, and specification.

  • The Sandero TCe 100 Bi-Fuel version received special mention from Steve Huntingford, Editor of What Car?, who highlighted its spacious interior, good fuel economy, and the cost-saving benefit of running on LPG, which is cheaper than petrol. He also noted that the Sandero is pleasant to drive and comes well-equipped, particularly in the recommended trim.

In addition to the Sandero's accolades, the innovative Jogger defended its title as 'Best Seven-seater for Value' for the second consecutive year. The judges were impressed by its space, usability, and equipment. Steve Huntingford pointed out that beyond its attractive price, the Jogger is easy to drive and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate adults in all three rows. The recommended Expression trim includes desirable features such as keyless entry, cruise control, and rear parking sensors.

Luke Broad, Dacia Brand Director for the UK, expressed pride in the recognition, emphasizing that Dacia's commitment to value extends beyond pricing. The awards underscore Dacia's ability to deliver family-focused cars that combine affordability with durability and driver appeal, catering to the needs of car buyers and families for years of enjoyable adventures.

These awards add Dacia's already impressive record of over 20 UK industry accolades in 2023 continues to grow, highlighting the brand's consistent performance and appeal in the automotive market.
