• So, what’s the Mokka-e all about?

  Under the hood, the Mokka-e is powered by a 50 kWh battery that delivers a range of up to 209 miles on a single charge. You can enjoy long trips without the need to stop and recharge. When it comes to charge the Mokka-e, it’s quick and convenient. With a 100 kW fast charger, it fully charges in just 30 minutes, making it an ideal option for those on the go. 

  The Mokka-e comes with a single electric motor that produces 100 kW of power and 260 Nm of torque. This gives the vehicle a top speed of 93 mph and an acceleration time of 0-62 mph in 8.1 seconds. Enough power to get you where you need to go and take those roundabouts without losing significant speed. 

  Driving the Mokka-e is a unique experience. The vehicle comes with plenty of features, including a driver-orientated digital infotainment that displays all the necessary information, such as speed and battery level. It also comes with advanced driver assistance systems, such as lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking, helping to keep you safe on the road. 

  On the inside, the Mokka-e is spacious and comfortable. Seating up to five passengers including the driver, the boot provides ample space – perfect for weekends away. The interior is modern and stylish, with a minimalist design.

  Kim* purchased the new Mokka-e in September 2021 and has enjoyed every moment of driving since. Here she details her experience owning a Mokka-e GS model. 

  “When my other half was buying his car, the Vauxhall Mokka-e immediately caught my eye. It was then I knew it would be my next car.  

  I’ve enjoyed every moment of owning it since. I like that all displays point towards the driver, where you can choose the type of display on your dashboard to suit your personality from minimalist or map through to a full information about your journey. It’s a convenient way to stay focused on the road without useless distractions. The seats are comfortable, making any length of journey, from 30 mins to 3 hours, an easy drive. 

  For the few passengers that went inside, they all said the interior looks like a spaceship. It feels that way because it’s sleek, visually clutter-free with built-in buttons that camouflage itself with the design. Vauxhall really focused on an efficient & minimalist design from the inside out. Bonus review: it’s easy to clean the surfaces too! Gone are the days with dusty buttons or hard-to-reach spaces one cannot clean! 

  The acceleration is my favourite bit. With the electric mode, switch to sport and you have full torque control. I feel a lot more reactive when in traffic. I used to struggle with getting out at junctions with my previous car, but the Mokka-e eliminates any stress here with this feature. 

  I sometimes find myself driving on and off road because of where I live, and the fact that this car can adapt to any surface really makes me feel at ease. I can drive as confidently on a city road as I can on a muddy lane. A full-size SUV competitor, for sure! 

  As for the size of the car, it’s perfect for fitting through tight spaces whilst enjoying the spec of a standard SUV from the inside. I feel fully in control when stuck in traffic, with the ability to nip through tight spaces when needing to escape a congested area. Owing to its size, manoeuvring is a breeze compared to full-size SUVs that feel clunky and bulky. 

  On a final note, this car keeps surprising me the longer I own it – in a good way! It’s flexible, comfortable, reactive, efficient and sporty. It’s well worth the price! Gone are the days of needing a full spec car at a high price point. The Mokka-e makes driving less than 8 hours with occasional off-road paths on a daily basis simple. Highly recommended for most lifestyles!”
