After buying a new car from Vauxhall Hastings, I can say how very happy I was with the experience. The team were very helpful, giving me plenty of time to make my decision. With the test drives I was able to take the car out by myself, which I think is also a nice thing to be able to do. The aftercare has also been extremely professional and lovely. Highly recommend.

The professionalism, friendliness and knowledge of Sam Collins SLM Vauxhall who helped me purchase my Mokka EV was exceptional. I griddled him with every question under the sun and he patiently answered all my queries. He gave me plenty of time to think through the many options and made understanding them simple. When we hit any hiccups he was down to earth and sorted them. His communication was excellent too. This is backed up by the fact that car has passed the honeymoon period of six months and is still an absolute delight with all its luxury features including for example the modern design and leather interior, keyless entry for quick enhanced safety and ease of entry, the amazing park assist which gets in the most unbelievable of tiniest spaces, the massage seat for stressful moments, the lights that light up a football pitch at night, the clear satnav summary feature behind the steering wheel, and the quality sound system. Plus the attractive charge point installed by partner Octopus is simple to use and very neat both on the wall unit and by mobile app. All in all what’s not to love I would highly recommend!!!

What a refreshing experience I had buying my mini at SLM. From when we first visited all staff were very helpful. David came with us for a test drive and his knowledge and experience guided us through the whole process. I collected my new mini on my birthday , when I got to SLM she had a big red bow on her. I recently bought my new orange Corsa from Cieran, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Really great experience. I recently purchased a Vauxhall Corsa SE and was helped through the process by Cieran Faithfull. I’d never gone through the process of buying/ financing a car before as this was only my second vehicle and so there was several parts of the process that i was unsure on, but Cieran really helped with that making none of my questions seem silly, breaking down and explaining everything really clearly all while not feeling too salesy or putting on any pressure about my decision. Having just bought a Ford Focus I can say the experience was great. Dave Siddle is a great chap, very accommodating and knows his stuff. The car was as described and well presented and Dave held it via deposit until I could travel through. No high pressure sales talk, just good all round years of knowledge on the product and a very easy operation all round. . I would definitely recommend. A well oiled operation. Threw in some high end polishing kit and offered us a large supply of chocolate wafers which my brother and I badly left crumbs all over showroom floor; but clearly not in the new car!!!. Great man and a good all round system👍👍👍Very pleased with the car. I am a surveyor and will be using this vehicle for business use and it definitely looks the part. I found a car for my daughter on spoticar and made an appointment with Cieran at Hastings SLM branch. My wife and I had been looking for a certain car for two months, when this right one happened to come up. Cieran was a delight to work with in every aspect. He answered my questions and queries far better than dealerships I have been involved with over the years. Even though we are out of the area, I have decided to go back there on a yearly basis for servicing/mot etc as feel it's good to keep everything in house and repay the kindness and effort portrayed to us. Our daughter is over the moon with her new Vauxhall Corsa. I have even had return emails after our purchase which also shows complete commitment. Normally once I leave a forecourt I never hear a word ever again once they have got the sale. So I've been looking for a second hand van on and off for about a year with not much luck ! More me being fussy as to what I wanted.had a bad experience with another van company that set me back. Anyway I found a used van on slms website on the Friday night and walked into the showroom the nxt day and im really happy I did .i found a lovely van and a great salesman! I found the overall experience of buying my used Corsa was very professional. Sam Collins was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the sale. I recently bought a car from slm vauxhall Hastings which I am very pleased with. Cieran Faithfull the senior sales consultant was fantastic. He was very professional, not at all "pushy". He had endless patience & explained everything so well. Nothing was rushed & I would highly recommend him & slm Hastings.

Maybe one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, I brought a car 7 ish months ago after a couple of weeks there were so many faults I begged them to take the car back which they refused first it was a new battery then apparently that battery was faulty so had another, then it was the water cap, there were constant issues but when I brought it in over and over they finally said it needed a new starter motor. Which they did but now the same issues is happening again the car won’t start, the engine light is now also on, they have booked me in for 2 weeks time so I’m again without a car it’s just unacceptable I have gone to the ombudsman all the do is palm me off over and over I’m at my wits end the car has issues at least every month I’ve been stranded with my 2 kids so many times every time I ask they refuse to take the car back I just want my money back, I’ve been treated like an idiot fingers crossed the ombudsman will go in my favour as I saw legal advice which stated they are in the wrong due to the amount of faults I wonder what rubbish they will come up with this time awful place avoid! I’ve updated my rating to 3/5 as the sales manager was great, really lovely polite man, has now fixed the car. It’s still not a 5/5 I’ve dropped 2 stars just due to the amount of issues and stress this has caused me. I can’t thank the sales manager enough

Could not fault the help that i received today. Went in today 4/4/24 to upgrade my 69 plate corsa & ordered the new vauxhall Corsa 2024 plate ready for pickup which had an estimated delivery date for 31st July 2024. Received an email to say that my new car arrived on 1st June. Picked it up yesterday 6/6/24. Really happy with the service & speedy delivery of my car. Would highly recommend Vauxhall Hastings.

We recently purchased a Vauxhall Corsa from SLM Hastings and were delighted with the service we received. Our sales consultant at SLM was Mr. Kieran Faithfull who was professional in manner, friendly in demeanour and an expert in his knowledge of our car. We were put at our ease and helped to find the car most suitable to our needs. In advance of our visit to SLM Kieran sent us a bespoke video clip of the interior and exterior of our car with a commentary which we found very helpful. Kieran's approach was soft sell and there was no pressure placed on us to buy a car - which we found most refreshing. Having bought a car we were instructed in how to use the onboard computer and telephoned two days later to make sure that we were happy with the car. Today I purchased a Honda Jazz as a second car from SLM although it was 5 years old it was in perfect condition, The main reason I am writing this review is to say what an amazing sales executive Cieran Faithfull turned out to be. I Have purchased new BMWs worth four times the amount with a tenth of of the attention that Cieran spent on this sale,nothing was too much trouble. This is a young man who will, and deserves to go far in his profession.

I was looking for a particular used Vauxhall mokka X, after a few weeks of research I found one I liked at SLM St Leonards on sea. As I live in SE London I was a little concerned of the 55 mile train journey to Hastings (as I didn’t have a car) . I telephoned the showroom and spoke to a sales executive Cieran Faithull . I explained my situation and asked multiple questions about the car which he answered willingly and without hesitation. He suggested if I was to reserve the car for £99 I could see it when it suited me. He explained if I changed my mind at any time, the money would be refunded immediately. Cieran made a personalised video, inside and outside of the car explaining some of the features. He telephoned me later in the evening asking what I thought. I made an appointment to look at the Mokka a few days later. Cieran Kindly offered to pick me up from Hastings train station when it suited me, which he did in the Mokka. I took the car for a test drive from the station. The car had been polished and prepared to a very high level which was lovely to see. During the journey Cieran was amicable, professional, informative and knowledgeable about the car. I decided to buy the car and all the paperwork was completed. The car itself was under 4 years old and in excellent condition. I walked around the used car section and found them all to be similar quality. Considering you get a 1 year warranty, 1 year RAC cover and 3 day insurance the car was fairly priced. My only negative would be that although the two front tyres were legal tread, it was clear they were coming to the end of their life. They wouldn’t change the tyres however posted me 4 genuine mokka car mats which was a really nice touch. In conclusion the car I bought was of a high standard, and I’m very happy with it. Cieran and the SLM team want your business however are prepared to work really hard for it, going way beyond what you would expect. I even got a follow up call a week later asking if the car was ok and if there were any other questions I would like to ask. In this day and age a good product and great customer service is everything so I give the whole buying experience 5 stars.

SLM have high standards of sales presentation and follow up. Cieran Faithfull Sales Consultant was very methodical and helpful when I considered a purchase. He understood my criteria and focussed on finding me a vehicle which was going to fit the bill. By taking his time in explaining every step and answering my questions he gave me the confidence that I was being looked after professionally. After having a bad experience with skinners of Rye with a poorly fitted piece of equipment, vauxhall slm in St leonards rectified the issue making our car safe again. I firstly came here to have my old corsa repaired. but as it turned out being a writeoff, I looked at what was available to buy here as I wanted to upgrade to a newer corsa. From start to finish the staff at SLM were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Brilliant service, really happy with my new car! I had Cieran Faithfull helping me find my new car, told him what I wanted and he arranged test drives with me where he would bring the car to me (because of COVID) which made things easier. Cieran told me about a car that they were getting in just over a month and it sounded perfect. During this time Cieran would call me just to keep me updated. My car had recently failed it’s MOT with a long list of issues that I couldn’t afford to fix. So the time had come to trade it in for a new car. I didn’t know where to start at the beginning but I had the pleasure of being advised and helped by Christopher Topliss. From the very start he was very friendly and very helpful providing me with all of the information I needed, he gave me a few options of cars to work with my circumstances. It seemed nothing was too much for him to do for me. He kept me informed of the next steps all the way through to the end and made the entire process extremely effortless from my perspective. Today I took delivery of my new car and I couldn’t be happier. It was delivered when Christopher said it would be and was immaculate inside and out. Great experience Start to finish. It is normally such a mine field buying a new vehicle. Cieran made the whole experience easy. His customer service was 1st rate, informing me of everything I needed to know. I even got a phone call the day after bringing the vehicle home to make sure I was happy with everything. I asked lots of questions before purchasing and Cieran was patient and accommodating. At know point was there any of the pushy salesmanship I have had with other garages that puts me off. I've been a customer here for many years and have had the best service, Jack who is now sales manager (Congratulations) has been great to me, and now has past me to Cieran who has just sold me a beautiful Vauxhall. Cieran has great customer service and is always communicating with you about your purchase, especially with covid is very hard to purchase but Cieran was great, Thank you again Cieran.

We just went to have a look around the showroom, and was not pressured into buying a car, So we came back the next day and brought a Mokka x. The staff were brilliant especially Jack the manager and cerian our sale executive, they answered all our questions and we were also given 2 weeks to decide if we liked the car, If we didn't we could just take it back. We loved the Mokka and have kept it. They rang us up to make sure we were happy and everything was ok.

Was sold a new car by cerion Faithfull. Was an easy process and a great 1st time experience me and my wife had. Cerion was extremely helpful throughout the whole process, and explained everything in great detail. After the agreement was signed. There was a couple of road stone chips on the paintwork that I saw. This was no fault of cerion or anything to do with slm but was just down to general wear from previous owner. I mentioned it to him and he had someone out to repair it that following morning before I collected the car free of charge Couldn't be happier and would highly recommend.

PX my late fathers car for a newer model. Jack Marshall was brilliant from start to finish & made the process easy without any stress. I would definitely recommend these guys & will certainly visit again in the future when needed. I decided to upgrade to a bigger family car . We visited many garages but came back several times to slm hasting to look at the same car before deciding to test drive. The service we received was excellent. After our test drive we decided to purchase the car . From start to finish we could not fault them. Everything was done smoothly and quickly. This would be the 3rd vehicle we have brought from slm over the years and always the same quality of service .

Ordered grandland in June was given 31st as a delivery date still not arrived sales staff are brilliant but are not in direct contact with the manufacturer and unable to tell me when or if the car will be delivered my husband is a wheelchair user we have been left in a vulnerable position as we live in a rural area with no car

We have just bought a used Zafira Tourer and cannot fault the service we had from Cieran Faithfull. He was helpful without being pushy and gave us all the options for other services that may be useful to us. Having had 6 Vauxhalls in the past we have dealt with a few main dealers and a couple of independent car sales and the service here is very good. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of buying either new or used and in particular recommend Cieran for his excellent customer service.

I get my Toyota Yaris serviced here. I also bought it here. This is a full service dealership and I have to say that I have never been let down by them ever, on anything. If there is something unexpected, then they call to advise and get permission before continuing. Of course, they are a main dealer, so I expect you'll get better service pricing elsewhere and certainly cheaper MOTs, but while the car is reasonably new, I don't mind paying a bit more. For the MOT they have a system where they send you a video of the car (link via text message) and point out any faults or advisory items. All that is needed to be done is to view the issue and then authorise on the webpage. Very convenient, very quick and very easy. Toyota's are usually rated as the most reliable of cars and this place does a great job of keeping them on the road.

Great showroom, friendly staff. Let down by pushy hard sell tactics following a service, poor communication (I asked twice for a clear total cost for service and parts once works were agreed so I could budget ahead and make sure I had sufficient in my account, didn't get a full cost till I got to the showroom to pick up), also a minor point but my receipt says I got a complimentary hoover and clean...definitely didn't.

Really not good, I bought a second hand vauxhall Astra bi turbo and when i was looking at the car i was told there was no recall on the car at the time, I had a look online and there was being stupid i assumed it did not affect my car as you would think the people selling the car would know best (clearly not) i then had a fault 'fixed' on the wing mirror it was clearly botched as from driving it out of the garage it did not work. i then took the car into the garage to get it fixed about a week after i had bought the car, they then informed me the recall had not been done on the car so they would do it i asked why it had not been noticed when they were servicing the car before i collected it and they had no answer. Anyway they said on the thursday when i went to collect the car that it now needed a whole new wing mirror and that it had passed the recall so the service department said they would contact me when they had the new wing mirror in and they would fit it that day but two days after it had passed the recall the car became almost undrivable with the clutch sticking leaving me rolling in a car park unable to put it in gear once i was able to drive the car i went straight home and booked it in for an appointment on Monday at the garage and all of a sudden it failed its recall and they had to keep the car for a week its now been in there over a week because at the same time they though they would fix the wing mirror but this was messed up and they had to order a whole new wing mirror meaning I have my owned my car for 5 weeks and have only driven it for 2 of those weeks. Not impressed at all especially considering the amount of money I have spent with the company in the past. One thing i will say is that the car is all sorted now thanks to the great work of the after sales manager Dan who came out personally to pick my car up from my house and had all the troubles sorted in two days and I really can't praise him enough, he even dropped my car back to me at work once its completed. Its just a shame i had to wait so long to get to speak to him and i really cant fault him one bit his customer service was superb.
