We bought a great nearly new Toyota Yaris from Paul at Quest who couldn't have been more helpful. He answered lots of questions when we phoned and even took the time to make a video for us so we knew whether it was worth driving up see the car in person. There was no hard sell and Paul was really nice to deal with. We've waited a few weeks since the puchase before posting in case we had any issues with the car, but it has been great and we're really pleased. Customer service, in my experience these days is a rarity. However, certainly not in my dealings with Quest Motor Group in Braintree. Everyone was pleasant, helpful and friendly. In particular the sales gentleman who assisted me, with my vehicle purchase, Rob Beckwith. A very knowledgeable and helpful gentleman who dealt with everything efficiently in a kind and friendly manner, and I have already recommended both him and the group to several other friends and family. I decided a week ago that I wanted to change my car for a new Suzuki Swift. Stuart took me for a test drive & did the initial paperwork then It was Paul Duffus I saw on the day of collection. I hadn't bought a car from a Dealership previously but they both made it an easy & pleasant experience!

We had a good experience using Quest. Our salesman Rob was genuine and not pushy at all. They offered a fair price for trade in of our old car and managed to source the new Swift model and colour we wanted in 2 weeks which was impressive. The only reason for a 4 star rating is due to our experience on collection of our new car, where we had to wait due to back to back sales appointments and paperwork wasn’t ready so collection felt rushed. Overall we are really pleased with the car and would use Quest again and recommend to friends and family.

I bought a used car from this garage and had a really smooth experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly, honest, and took the time to answer all my questions without any pressure. The car was exactly as described and well prepared when I collected it. I noticed a stone chip while driving the car home from the showroom and mentioned it to the sales advisor. They sorted it out straight away, and a repair company came to fix it at my home address three days later, which I really appreciated. We had an excellent experience with Quest when buying a pre-owned mini this August. Andy, the sales executive we dealt with, was highly knowledgeable and utterly professional throughout the entire process. A minor electrical problem manifested itself on the day we were due to collect the car. Andy, knowing that we would be a little disappointed, arranged to fix this and was keen for us only to take the car when he was satisfied that it was 100% okay. The problem was professionally resolved the following week and we duly picked up the car the next weekend. Quest Motors, in particular, Paul Chitty have been a joy to deal with. We'd been searching for a specific car, with specific features for a long time. When a car that ticked all our boxes came up on a national search, Paul helped us secure the vehicle. After our initial enquiry, we weren't quick enough to reserve, and someone else bought the car. However, the sale fell through and Paul immediately contacted us to say it was again available. We took this as a sign it was the one! As we live in the Highlands of Scotland there was a delivery option, but as my Husband had some time off work we decided to make the trip to collect the car, and I'm glad we did! On the day of collection we arrived 45 minutes early for our appointment as we didn't know how long public transport would take. The weather was a bit grim, so we apologised for turning up early, but staff were so welcoming and gave us a comfy seat and hot drinks until Paul was ready, and he didn't take long at all, seeing us well before our appointment time. We were happy to wait, but this was appreciated as we had a long drive ahead of us to get home. The purchase went very smoothly and our new car was in immaculate condition. It looked brand new! Paul made the whole process seamless and, in our opinion, went above and beyond our expectations. Start to finish, 10/10!!

Purchased my Smart forFour from Quest in September and I have to say that the care that was given from start to finish was amazing. I mainly dealt with Anton, the care and dedication he gave to my purchase made me feel as if I was his most important client. I purchased on line (first time) and Anton sent a video introducing himself and a detailed showing and explanation of the car inside with the various fittings ect and outside bodywork, it was really like actually being there. The experience of buying another motor was very positive as they have a large selection of used and new vehicles to view. The sales staff were extremely helpful by going out of their way to make sure you are well informed and happy with your selection. Out of all the second car garages and dealerships I had interactions with Quest were by far the best. Joe was professional, friendly from the start and made the whole process much easier. I was allowed to look around the car alone with no pressure and Joe was able to answer any questions I had. The car was cleaned, well maintained and looked after by them. Car was polished and cleaned very well despite being delivered when it had snowed ha ha. It hoses off nicely. After an entirely awful experience with another local dealer, I contacted Darren at quest. From start to finish the entire process was a pleasure. I test drove my Vitara on the Tuesday and explained I’d need to drive away quickly. Darren arranged scrappage of my trade in, dealt with the finance company and had the car fully valeted (with mats) ready to collect on the Wednesday evening. A courtesy call to follow up how the car was, was a really nice treat. So was the Christmas email and the letter sent out to thank me for my custom. I’ve never dealt with such a professional car dealership before and trust them 100% that should I need to use my warranty I will have no problems. They also emailed me 12 months free AA membership. I spoke to all members of the Suzuki sales team and found them all absolutely fantastic. Thanks guys

Excellent Customer Service from the 1st visit to Richard Cowan; initially to discuss options for a new vehicle linked to specific needs of my sister in law. Ultimately led to a purchase of Suzuki S Cross via Motability Scheme and this was a seemless process culminating in taking delivery 31st October; which was only a few weeks from visiting the showroom with sister in law.

We'd almost lost hope of securing a purchase for the make/model/transmission of car we were searching for. We're not ones to settle for anything, everything had to be right; mileage, economy, insurance etc. Following at Auto Trader search, we found what we were looking for however, it was a 3 hour drive away. We couldn't find the time to fit that in and so, hesitantly approached Quest in the hope of a positive online purchase experience. We explained our fears of not seeing the car in the 'flesh' however, our concerns soon disappeared when we realised that we could not have been in safer hands. Stephanie Thomas went above and beyond to assist with our purchase. We must have received at least 4 video clips of the car showing, in great detail, the paintwork, interior, alloy wheels and the engine running. She was very honest about a minor paintwork defect that was quickly rectified and evidenced with another video. The transaction was extremely smooth and we were delighted with our purchase. We would have no hesitation in dealing with Quest again. Highly recommended!

I drove to the quest garage for an hour because I know the service received is the best. This is the 3rd car I have personally brought from them however other family members have always brought from there. Darren is so good at his job, alway very honest very knowledgable about the cars. He goes out of his way to help you.

I am in France on holiday. Somehow, I have lost my oil filler cap for my Citroen C3 Aircross. I was unable to obtain one from my local Citroen dealer or from another supplier of car parts. In desperation I called Kevin Tyler at Quest in Braintree from where I bought the car. Amazing. Not only did he tell me the part number, he found one in stock and posted it to me. I was able to pay over the phone and it will be delivered in 2-3 days. Where else can you get such service?

My first time to peruse potential used cars at this site, huge variety of many different manufactured vehicles. I was very pleased to receive a fabulous service from an experienced customer executive, he actively listened, and gave valid and unobtrusive information and advice. The air conditioned show room, with hot conditions outside, was a welcome place to discuss my options and felt relaxed and easy going throughout. I highly recommend this car sales site/showroom.

The impression any company gives is dominated by the individual or individuals that the customer deals with. Unfortunately, on this occasion I did not feel very comfortable with the experience I had with the Sales Representative. The deciding factor for me on not buying a vehicle from Quest was that I was made to feel that I was being awkward for not wanting to give my National Insurance number to be able to check on my drivers licence to effect a test drive. I was told “you’re the first person that’s ever refused”. The reason for my refusal is due to identity theft and I’ve never been asked to part with this sensitive information before. I told the Sales Rep that I could give him a code that would give him access to my drivers licence details but he said he couldn’t accept that due to company policy. I therefore refused to buy the car. The next day he came back to me saying that he’d checked with their insurers and he could now accept a code. At this point I had decided that I didn’t want to proceed.

Another smooth and easy purchase with Darren Flight at Quest Motors. This is the 8th vehicle (cars and vans) purchased from Darren in the last 8 years so that speaks volumes. Excellent service. Fitted us in at really short notice when our local garage couldn't fix the issue. Couldn't have been more helpful, offered us the cost of the repair via Bumper.co.uk too so 0% for six months. Craig really helpful in ensuring the car was ready for us to use for holiday and did some work on it in his own time.

I visited the dealership to view a car for my son. I was met by Richard who showed me around the car and answered all my questions with confidence. After test driving the vehicle Richard and I discussed the particulars around the details of the sale and the options available to me. I found the whole process very professional, friendly and unpressured. Having agreed terms the follow up service has again been very professional and efficient. I can’t fault my experience and couldn't recommend the dealership and in particular Richard more highly.

They were very busy but still had time to me out in between other customers getting me keys to look at different cars and getting me ready for a test drive. I've been looking for a new car for a while. Been to many and spoken to many garages, all loose interest after first contact or just don't get back to you. Quest however stood out massively. Friendly, always reply. Made the extra effort. And finally Rob whom I'd been dealing with sold me a lovely mokka. I'd even jokingly said have a cup of coffee waiting for me and I'll be there. When I arrived to look at the car there it was waiting a fresh mock cup of coffee. This is one of 4 vauxhall garages I approached when I was looking to upgrade my car. It was by far the best service I have experienced and I would highly recommend Darren from the used car department. I went to see a car from quest, Darren contacted me by email as per my request and was very flexible to book me in for a test drive of a car that I had seen online. Darren then offered me a fair price for my old car and was honest about the used car and the 2 things it had wrong with it. (this was small panel damage at the front and the old owner decided to remove the rear wiper for some reason.) But a bit of honestly goes a long way. He wasn't pushy at all when it come to selling me the car (let's face it we all hate that) he explained how the financing works and gap insurance and how this would benefit me. And although the old owner had left the car in a questionable state of cleanliness he was more than happy to get this professionally cleaned (as all there new and used cars come) and remove some of the boy racer stickers that were fitted. The only issue I had found was when the garage had done the MOT and Full service of the car (again all used cars come with 10 months minimum of MOT) the mechanic had failed to sign the service book which I noticed when I had got home . When brought up with Darren he was more than happy to rectify this even offering to drive to my house to pick up the book to sign it despite the fact that I lived 20/30 miles away from the forecourt. I ended up driving there between shifts but hey the offer was nice! I left very satisfied from my experience with quest Braintree and I was very excited to drive my new car, I would more than recommend quest to anyone that is looking for there new car.

Had a really great experience with Citroen at braintree we had Steph as our sales rep, she was extremely helpful, kind and very welcoming nothing was to much trouble. We bought a car there yesterday too, so quick simple and easy and it will be ready to collect this week. Very good service I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

We did a test drive, and then were given all the details we needed to decide whether to order a new car. At no point did we feel pushed to order a new car. We went away and made our decision, and returned the next day. We already use Quest for the servicing and M.O.T of our other car, so really trust them as a company.

Bought a Citroen car online at Quest Motor Group Braintree and had the car delivered to me on a part exchange. The reason for part exchange was due to ULEZ. The service received by them was exceptional and the person managing the sale (Rob) was brilliant. So far the car has been fantastic and have got 3 months warranty as standard for peace of mind. Recommend Quest motors 100%.

What started out as a general enquiry as to my cars value resulted in the purchase of a car thanks to Paul Duffus. I saw a car on the internet (Ford Focus ST Line) that sparked interest and having had an online valuation of my car this was followed up by an email from Paul enquiring if he could help further. The price offered by Quests was a little lower than I had been offered but Paul quickly managed to match the other offer. I arranged to look at the car and the whole experience was relaxed and friendly with Paul keen to help but placed no pressure whatsoever to commit to buying. The end result was a sale was agreed. Certain add ons to the purchase were offerd - GAP insurance, Bodywork Protection etc - but again no pressure. I agreed on some but not all and again Paul was understanding and was happy to point out and explain the benefits of each policy without pressure. As we were about to leave on Saturday my wife noticed the slightest of dents on the rear door we hadn't noticed when viewing. Paul didn't hesitate in saying it would be sorted and whilst I was there he contacted someone to deal with it. The result was an email from Paul on a Sunday evening to confirm the dent would be removed today if I could take the car to them. I will end by saying that my son and sister in law have all purchased cars from Quests and found their service to be excellent. I now understand why. Thankyou Paul. Regards Steve

Phoned service department for aircon service. Was told they couldn't fit me in for a couple of weeks. When i mentioned i was in the vauxhall service club they said the £140 aircon service could not be discounted. I phoned Marshalls Ipswich and was booked in later the same week and ended up pay £118 with the service discount. As a previous Quest Braintree customer i feel let down, and well done Marshalls.

Upon arrival at Quest Motor Group Braintree, I received a warm welcome as I asked to view one of their cars for sale. I was shown some other cars of the same model that I went to view, that were in a different colour, which was of interest to me as it was nice to be able to compare the cars. The Customer Service I received was excellent from the point of viewing the car to making a purchase. I gained the impression that Quest Motor Group actively make the effort to ensure customer satisfaction in their purchase of a vehicle, and subsequent maintenance of it ( if required ). Just purchased a car from Ollie and really enjoyed the experience! Ollie took the time to listen to what I was looking for and ensured there was no pressure into making a decision to make sure I could look at all of my options. The ethos of the no pressure selling approach and the family run business are positives that other car dealerships in the area do not hold. As with life nothing is perfect however Ollie has been super prompt at sorting any small issues and assisting with any additional queries I may have had. Bought a car here back in June 2018 and the process was so easy. All the cars go through checks so you can be assured that vehicles are up to standard. The after sale car has also been brilliant! I took out an extend warranty on my car and recently took it back for repairs at the Braintree Branch. The mechanic explained knew what the issue was immediately and went about fixing the issue. They also offered be a courtesy car so I could go about my day while my car was being repaired. First class service highly recommend these guys!!!!

I originally purchased my car through Quest at Braintree and after about a year my paint work at the front of the car began to peel. I immediately contacted the branch and within a week I was booked in to get it sorted. When I came to get my car I asked if everything went okay and they said they was unable to repaint the part so replaced it free of charge as I was still in warranty. I cannot thank them enough! They have provided 10/10 service and I'll definitely be recommending. Thank you.

I recently bought a C1 from Quest and from the very first phone enquiry I made, Bret Cuddehay was so helpful, professional and kind. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to part with my beloved Land Rover and buy the much smaller, but surprisingly comfortable C1. After owning it for two weeks I’ve got to say I love it. It’s economical to run and I can park it in the smallest of spaces. It’s also very cute to look at. I would definitely recommend Brett and the rest of the team at Quest.

Went to quest showroom to view a car that was online and wasn't jumped on by staff as I have experienced in other dealers, we was looked after by ollie, given coffee and genuinely enjoyed the visit due to their non pressure approach, for the first time in my car buying experience I actually chose what I wanted from them and not what was on offer, walk in as a customer and you feel like you walked out as a friend, and it's not a sales technique just their friendly way of dealing with customers. Had my first dealings with Bret Cuddehay when looking for a Citroen motorbility vehicle for my husband, he was considerate and very helpful in finding us the right car. Sadly the car had to go back after a few months because of bereavement. My next dealings with Quest was when I was looking for a car for myself, and because of the kind, friendly service we got before obviously I returned. This time dealing with Stephanie again a credit to the company lovely lady who was very kind and again like Bret very knowledgeable about the vehicles. I would not hesitate in recommending Quest Braintree to anyone who is looking for a new or second hand vehicle.

Recently I bought a nearly new Vauxhall Astra from Quest in Braintree. I found the process very straightforward and stress free. Good afternoon everyone, having dealt with Vauxhalls for numerous years now (25) the service & welcome received on this occasion by (Simon Ryan) was exemplary, I had many questions to ask & they were answered to my satisfaction, because of the polite service that I received, I purchased a new car which was my intention in the first place, I had seeked other dealerships, but came nowhere near the service & welcome. I have never been disappointed by Quest Motors customer service & long may that continue. If I was to be asked for recommendations by friends & family Quest Motors is a no brainer!!

We were made to feel welcome , the deal we received on buying our new Vauxhall Mokka X was far better than several other garages (we tried 4 other Vauxhall dealers not a patch on friendliness trade in, knowledge of new car etc). Bradley listened to our needs and answered all our questions without high sales pressure, he also kept us updated whilst waiting for the new car. I used Quest on Wednesday 21st December after another garage messed up on installing a wheel bearing on my car. I found their staff to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The work was carried out to a high standard, came with a good warranty and came at a reasonable price. My ONLY complaint, is that I waited in reception for the work to be completed and it took a while. So I would recommend if you want to wait, you verify how long you will be waiting for. Other than this, great place, I would highly recommend, and I will be using them again in the new year.
