SLM Toyota's Shane Beaney Qualifies as MOT Tester

SLM Toyota Hastings are proud to announce that our Toyota Technician, Shane Beaney (pictured right with General Manager, Jason Barlow) has just qualified to be an MOT Tester (Class 4). About the achievement, Jason commented “congratulations to Shane for passing his test to become an MOT Tester. He has worked very hard to achieve this status and we are delighted that he is now able to do MOT Testing on our customers’ cars". To be eligible to qualify, the participant must be nominated by an Authorised Examiner, they must also be a skilled mechanic with at least 4 years’ full-time employment in the service and repair of the vehicle types to be tested and be ‘of good repute’. We are extremely pleased that Shane has gone over and above the requirements needed to become a competent MOT Tester and is a huge asset to the SLM Toyota team.
