SLM Nissan Site Redevelopment

The Church Wood Drive SLM site has undergone a dramatic transformation in recent months so we thought you would be interested to know what’s been happening. SLM has owned the Church Wood Drive site in St Leonards for many years, with the Fiat and Nissan brands bringing much success. However, due to legislation changes brought in by Europe and the interpretation of the vehicle manufacturers, the decision was taken to streamline the site and concentrate on the Nissan brand. This decision was not taken lightly and the needs of customers were at the forefront of discussions. In order for the company to continue to cater for our customers from Fiat, the servicing and parts operations have been moved to the Sedlescombe Road sites. The new site layout at Church Wood Drive is going from strength to strength. The Nissan brand has benefited from additional space and exposure. Nissan is at the forefront of futuristic driving with eight new models or face lifts to be launched over the next 18 months, including the exciting all electric Zero emissions Nissan Leaf. We even have a new electric vehicle charging point installed at Church Wood, which is free of charge for customers to use! We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their patience over the redevelopment period and to assure them that SLM is definitely here to stay!
