SLM Nissan Donates to Employees Raising Money for the British Paralympic Association

SLM Nissan have proudly donated to two Nissan GB employees who are raising money for the British Paralympic Association.

  • SLM Nissan have proudly donated to two Nissan GB employees who are raising money for the British Paralympic Association. Gemma Crocker will be taking part in Tough Mudder on 20th August and Leon Brannan will be cycling from London to Paris from 29th July – 1st August. We have donated £350 to Leon and £100 to Gemma to help spur them on with their amazing challenges. They are already close to reaching their targets.

About her challenge, Gemma says: “Since joining Nissan I have been privileged to learn more about the Team Paralympics GB athletes, who overcome significantly bigger hurdles in pursuit of their dreams than I will be on the 20th August!

“This incredible team of people rely on limited lottery funding and commercial sponsors like Nissan, so additional charity support is vital to ensure a repeat performance of the 2012 London Olympics that inspired the UK.”

Leon explains: “Since joining the Nissan team this year I've been inspired by the support for and dedication of Team GB and in particular the Paralympic athletes…I feel strongly that I should try and support an inspiring group of people as much as I can.”

We would like to wish both Gemma and Leon the best of luck, we are sure they will do fantastically and it is all for a very worthy cause.
