SLM Group continue to raise funds for Sara Lee Trust in Bexhill, Sussex

SLM Group are proud to have presented a number of cheques to The Sara Lee Trust, Bexhill, following another successful year of fundraising.  

• SLM Group have long been a proud fundraiser for The Sara Lee Trust, a Sussex based charity that are very close to our hearts. Over the years, we have raised thousands for the trust, which provide specialist counselling and therapy care and support for local people who are living with cancer and other life-threatening conditions.  

  As we closed off the year in December 2021, another few months of successful fundraising gave our team the opportunity to present yet another cheque to the wonderful folks at The Sara Lee Trust. The cheque for £619 can be seen below, proudly held by our team at SLM Nissan in Hastings.  

• Back in October, SLM Group were also proud to present a cheque for £785 to the team at The Sara Lee Trust, following several months of charitable giving. See below picture of Tim Kempner, our Vauxhall Brand Manager, proudly presenting the cheque to the team at The Sara Lee Trust in Bexhill.

• Tim said “All the directors and staff at SLM feel very proud to be involved in raising money for such a great cause that helps our local community. For every new or used car that we sell across the group, we will make a donation to the trust. Including our recent donations, we are proud to have raised over £26,500 to the charity.”  

  Feeling humbled for the recent donations, and the ongoing support that SLM Group have provided to the trust over the years, a representative said “The Trust is grateful as always for SLM’s generosity, and their ongoing support for the local community. The funds raised will help local people who need ‘a hand to hold’, while affected by cancer or another life-threatening illness – providing counselling, complimentary therapies and group therapeutic activities.”
