SLM Group are pleased to announce the acquisition of Quest Motor Group, in Braintree.

• The addition on Quest Motor Group increases our representation points to 15, with sites in East Sussex, Kent, East Anglia, Surrey, Hampshire and now Essex.

  We also have an existing Suzuki dealership in Kent and a Bosch Service Centre in East Sussex. This acquisition expands our representation of Suzuki and further strengthens its position as a leading automotive retailer in the East of England.

  This purchase welcomes 45 new employees to SLM and the site will continue to operate as Quest Motor Group as a subsidiary of SLM.

  Quest Motor Group, a family owned company based in Braintree Essex, was founded in 1924 and has been a trusted name in the local and surrounding area for nearly 100 years. The business has operated as a Suzuki dealership for four years and in 2022, also became a Bosch Service Centre.

• This news comes in the wake of another recent acquisition completed by SLM. In October 2023, SLM acquired SMC Motor Group, gaining dealerships in Surrey, and Hampshire, with SEAT, CUPRA, Renault and Dacia joining SLM's portfolio of brand partners.
