Nissan Juke Nismo Hits UK Roads

Nissan's tuning arm Nismo has finally arrived in the UK. After seeing the work carried out by Nismo on the likes of the 370z, GTR and even the LEAF, Nissan fans in the UK have been eagerly anticipating the long awaited arrival of sportier Nissans. The first Nismo to hit the UK is the Nissan Juke. Based upon the 1.6 DiG-T Tekna, the Nismo carries an extra £1,700 worth of sporting equipment, which is fairly reasonable considering the changes made. With a total output of 197bhp, putting it in line with competitors such as the Ford Fiesta ST and Peugeot 208 GTi. There is plenty of grunt to work the car out of corners and this also makes the car the second fastest Juke on the market behind the £400,000 Juke-R. The commanding ride-height that is loved by customers remains, whilst the suspension is stiffened by 10% to avoid unnecessary roll in the corners, it remains acceptably comfortable around town and rural areas. A CVT automatic transmission model has also just recently been launched in the UK with the inclusion of 4WD, providing greater grip and comfort from the drive-train.
