  SLM Toyota are pleased to welcome Dave and Zara to the Hastings team as they are both great assets to the company with their friendly, personable natures.

  Dave, joining the team as a Service Collection & Delivery Driver, had this to say:

  'I retired from the police force after 28 years of service, however I quickly found out that full time retirement just wasn't for me.

  I enjoy meeting and greeting people and try to offer them the highest quality of customer care. Although I haven't been at SLM Toyota long, I already really enjoy working with a highly professional and committed team throughout the dealership. I am also impressed that it is still a family run business with a "Hands On" approach to dealing with all aspects on a daily basis.

  In my spare time I enjoy freshwater fishing and target shooting.

  I look forwards to meeting you soon!'

  To replace a team member who was as well-established as Fred, our previous driver, was a tall order, but Dave has more than risen to the challenge! Immediately he has proved a hit with all of our customers and his infectious love of life and laughter has cemented him firmly as one of our SLM family. Never without a smile, Dave has had nothing but glowing reports from all of our customers. Well done Dave!

  Zara, joining the team as a Part Time Host, said this:

  'I decided to apply for the role of the Part Time Host as I love and enjoy talking to and meeting new people. As the host, I am the first person to welcome customers to SLM Toyota in Hastings.

  I am super friendly and bubbly, and like engaging with people. I have already met some lovely customers and can't wait to see what my future holds at Toyota. All the staff are so welcoming and it feels more like a family than a team.

  I am a young mum to a little boy and I am getting married next year, so very exciting times for me at the moment.'

  When we first met Zara at an interview, we were captivated by her warm and bubbly personality. Confident and polite, friendly and chatty, we knew she was perfect to greet and take care of our customers in the role of Host - one of the most important positions in our Centre. Zara is already very popular with our customers and is well liked by all of the team here. Well done Zara!
