Greg Potter Completes Half Marathon in Aid of Parkinson's UK

Greg Potter, SLM Group Compliance & Finance Manager completed the Hastings 35th Half Marathon in aid of Parkinson's UK.

• Here at SLM, we would like to share some special news and congratulate our Group Compliance and Finance Manager, Greg Potter, for completing the Hastings 35th Half Marathon in aid of Parkinson's UK.

  Greg completed the Half Marathon in two hours and five minutes. Greg (number 774), is pictured running the marathon above. 

   

  "[Parkinson's UK] is a charity that is very close to my heart and I wanted to do something to support them and their work".

  Greg continued, "This was my first ever Half Marathon and taking on the Hastings course was definitely going to be a challenge.

  "The weather at the weekend made it slightly more challenging, but having such nice weather brought out more support and encouragement from an amazing town.

  "I was pleased to have completed it. The atmosphere was incredible and I am so grateful to anyone that has supported and sponsored me in the build up to it."

  SLM would like to congratulate Greg on this amazing achievement and his inspiring support of Parkinson's UK. Here at SLM, we pride ourselves on helping the community, that's why we are extremely proud to hear stories like these.
