Easter Eggs for the Children's Ward
  • The children on Kipling ward over the Easter will have plenty of Easter eggs thanks to a donation by Tesco and St Leonard's Motors Toyota. A shopping trolley full of Easter eggs was delivered to the ward and accepted by Ward Matron Caroline Stephenson. Ward Matron Caroline Stephenson said; "I would like to thank Tesco and St Leonard's Motors for their kind donation. I am sure the children will enjoy eating them." St Leonard's Motors Toyota has been running a competition to guess how many Easter eggs, donated by Tesco, are in a car. The competition runs until 24th April with a tablet the prize for the correct guess. Jason Barlow from St Leonard's Motors Toyota said: "Running the Easter egg competition we wanted a good home for the Easter eggs so we thought of the children's ward at the Hospital." Mandy Ashenden, Community Champion Tesco Extra said: "Tesco are pleased to donate the Easter eggs and hoped the children enjoyed them."
