Hyundai have recently just announced the all new Hyundai Veloster Turbo. A higher performance, sportier version of the already well loved Veloster, now armed with 201 horsepower to battle its worthy competitors – the Volkswagen GTi, Honda Civic Si and the Mini Cooper S. The Veloster Turbo’s Main focus is the new 1.6 GDi engine boosted by a twin-scroll turbocharger. The twin scroll turbocharger is designed for greater efficiency, utilising more exhaust gas to create superior low end torque and faster transient torque response. From a bigger, bolder hexagonal front grille, sculpted side skirts and a new dynamic rear bumper with prominent diffuser vents, in terms of styling the Veloster turbo has been given an overhaul to take on a sportier and more aggressive appearance. All New 18-inch grey wheels with chrome inserts as well as signature headlights with LED accents will increase the identity of the Veloster Turbo. Other extras with the Hyundai Veloster Turbo are a sport tuned suspension and steering set-up as well as new interior specification including full leather seats with stitched “Turbo” lettering as well as a sports bike inspired centre stack featuring a push-button starter.
