As part of our recent company developments, both Tim Kempner and Andy Bullimore have been appointed Group Operational Directors, and will be welcomed to the current Board of Directors.

  This follows on from the Management buy-in, which saw our board of Directors become shareholders of St Leonards Motors Holding Limited, in 2023.

• Tim Kempner

  Tim joined SLM Group in May 2015. Growing up in Hastings, Tim was already well-acquainted with our company's strong local reputation and history, which initially drew him to the SLM brand. During his career in the Automotive Industry, he has showcased his talents and dedication in various roles and disciplines, with his colleagues describing him as calm, composed and always two steps ahead.

• Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Despite his busy family life, he remains very enthusiastic about his role within the company, highlighting that the most exciting part about his new position is the opportunity to work with new people and help them on their own careers paths within the company.

  For Tim, SLM Group is special because it feels like a family, and he is committed to maintaining this close-knit atmosphere for colleagues as the company grows. His vision and leadership are sure to contribute significantly to our ongoing success.

• Andy Bullimore

  Andy has been with SLM Group since May 2018. He was attracted to SLM due to its scale and ethos, which were reminiscent of a previous role he enjoyed.

  Over the past six years, Andy has held numerous positions within the motor trade, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role as Director.

• Andy is known for his competitiveness, drive, loyalty and supportive nature. In his free time, he enjoys socialising with friends and family, travelling and relaxing with music. Andy is particularly looking forward to contributing to the future strategy for SLM Group, aiming for success, growth and stability.

  He values the genuine desire within the group to do things well, the right way and with an employee-centric focus. His insights and leadership will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping our future.
