SLM Group announces opening of brand-new Alpine Store Weybridge
SLM Group is excited to announce the official opening of Alpine Store Weybridge: the newest addition to the family-run business and a milestone moment for automotive enthusiasts across Surrey and beyond.

Bringing over 70 years of French motorsport heritage to a brand-new showroom, Alpine continues to redefine what it means to drive with passion.
The brand is known for its lightweight performance, racing pedigree and distinctive design, having always stood at the cutting edge of innovation. Alpine Store Weybridge showcases the all-electric, all-new A290, recently crowned 2025’s Car of the Year. The Alpine range also boasts the iconic A110, a modern classic, and will soon feature the eagerly awaited A390 SUV.
Family-owned since 1960, SLM Group has grown from a single garage into a network of dealerships and service centres across East Sussex, East Anglia, Surrey, Hampshire, and Essex.
In 2023, SLM Group further strengthened its reach by acquiring SMC Motor Group, bringing its total workforce to over 350 people. This expansion into Weybridge, Aldershot and Woking welcomed Renault, Dacia, CUPRA, and SEAT to the group’s portfolio.
Alpine now joins the Weybridge showroom alongside Renault and Dacia. Both SLM Group and SMC Motor Group have a strong community heritage, and this growth lets them combine a progressive automotive vision with their enduring values of quality, care, and integrity.
