Aftersales Manager - SLM Select

We are looking for someone dynamic, customer focused, and performance driven to lead our multi-brand aftersales team at SLM Select Hastings.

As an Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for managing our multi-brand workshop, leading the Aftersales support and workshop teams in delivering an exceptional customer experience whilst also managing and ensuring the efficient preparation process of over 150 stock used vehicles. You will be overseeing aftersales processes, planning and managing parts mix and stock levels, and handling the day-to-day operations of the service and parts department to achieve targets.

SLM Select is an exciting multi-brand aftersales opportunity, as it is both a Bosch Car Service Centre and a busy Nissan aftersales outlet. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, experienced, and ready to make an impact from their first day to help develop and grow the aftersales department within this exciting business.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and innovative in their approach to working, as well as have good operational knowledge and experience working within a main dealer aftersales environment.

Key Job Areas of the Aftersales Manager role:

• Manage the workshop and aftersales teams (service and parts) to achieve key targets
• Maintain high customer focus levels
• Monitor staff training needs
• Ensure compliance and company standards
• Work as a full member of the dealership team

What we’re looking for in an Aftersales Manager:

• Previous Aftersales Management experience is preferable
• Ability to work towards and successfully achieve targets
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Team leader with a positive and adaptable attitude
• Comfortable using digital tools and systems
• Full clean UK driver’s licence
