Welcoming Rahul to our team here at SLM Toyota Uckfield marks an exciting time for us, as Rahul not only has a superb past experience working on Toyota cars, but specifically international experience, working for Toyota overseas.
Rahul started his career as a technician working for Toyota in Kuwait, where he learned his trade and honed his craft. He told us that he’s always loved cars, so much so that it motivated him to study mechanics and pursue it as a profession. Whilst models differ slightly in other countries, the makeup of all Toyota cars is similar, and the small nuances between them only make Rahul’s experience working on them overseas more useful to us and our team.
A key characteristic of Toyota Technicians is their ability to identify and find resolutions to problems – this allows them to be efficient, and effective in their role. So, when we asked Rahul what he felt that he was really good at, we loved his answer: “I’m really good at problem solving. I like to figure out how to fix things, even if it doesn’t work first time. I like to keep trying until I figure it out!”
