Rob Woods, Town Centre Manager said "At Town Centre Management we continually experiment with innovative events that provide both entertainment for visitors and commercial opportunities for local businesses. The Music and Motors show brought local peripheral business together with local bands in the town's main market place to create a unique atmosphere that was felt and supported by the vast majority of visitors"

He added "During the course of the event planning, the partnership between SLM (Toyota) and the Town Centre grew ever stronger. As a result of excellent planning, both SLM and the existing traders in the town centre will continue for some time to get the benefit of the high footfall generated and Town Centre Management has learnt from the private sector's marketing and customer services skills and attention to detail. It was without doubt a mutually beneficial, successful experiment which hopefully will be repeated in the future"
